you need a law ,to define sin. if you posted that today, then your born in to a new covenant, not a past or old covenant. (committed under the first covenant).
the promised eternal inheritance ,came through a saviour ,not law . so you err big time in you interpretation of scripture.

if the first covenant was given to moses, that would need a temple of stone, because of the requirement of this law.
