If you could somehow choose to live in a different century (era), which one would it be?

For me, it would be 16th century. Regardless of all the conflict (About two thousand Jews are massacred in a Lisbon riot, The southern part of the Kingdom of Navarre is invaded by Castile and Aragon, The Church of England breaks away from the Roman Catholic Church and recognizes King Henry VIII as the head of the Church) I think this century had the best artists (Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Leonardo da Vinci, Hans Holbein the Younger,) , literature (William Shakespeare, Edmund Spenser) and philosophers (Giordano Bruno, Galileo, Nicolaus Copernicus).​

I'd like to nip back in time a few decades and observe how my country has changed into what it is now. I wouldn't mind spending some time in the '80s and '90s again and appreciate those things from my youth that are no longer here.

"just before I was born" meaning like in the delivery room (or wherever you were born) with your folks?
For me, I'd be a bit weirded out.

I was born in a little town in northeast Iowa. It might be fun to go back into time and see what the town was like during that year, or maybe even the ten years that preceded my birth.

The Victorian Age was a rather long period of time (1837-1901, according to Wikipedia). Perhaps the Gilded Age (1865-1901) would be better. Besides, the Victorian thing sounds sort of European to me, and I think the Gilded Age was a US thing, and remember that you and I from the US.

I'd go for the17th century. Sailing of on one of those magnificent ships, searching for unknown lands or new trade routes. All the way to China or America! In that era, it must have been like flying today. Adventures!!!

I'd be heading to the first century AFTER Christ. I want to see how the church grows and develops, and what, if any, changes take place in the way and the why of Christians meeting for fellowship and worship.

I had mine at fifteen. I didn't start dating till eighteen, though.
