I think it would be most wise to explore these issues after denying Clinton the Presidency and letting her cement a truly totalitarian state.
so we are supposed to explore trump's issues only -after- giving him the presidency and letting him cement a truly totalitarian state the same way clinton would?

smart republics vet their candidates -before- electing them...failure to do so gave us obama...

Yeah, I can't say I've seen you post something that accusatory. Whoa Johnny.
She most certainly did. I don't know which thread exactly but it was definitely one of her hate trump threads. That's why I and others find her as repulsive as we do.

Ha ha, someone wishing damnation upon fellow Christians is talking about moral laxity. You just can't make this stuff up. Its better than Comedy Central.

Give me your viable alternative. I've never liked Trump, so I am all ears.

If I have to choose between a President that will fully mobilize the Left and one who will not, I will choose the one who will not, because I have this wild, crazy instinct for self-preservation.

I remember it as well. I figured it was a fight or flight rage scenario so I sort of just passed it by.

Are you saying you are sacrificing truth for political expediency ;)
no...i am saying i don't have the patience to explain not commonly known historical references to someone who is inclined to just trample on pearls anyway...

right now the most viable alternative is to nominate someone else at the convention...at this point nearly -anyone- would be an improvement over trump...

on rare occasions you are actually funny...
Im actually always funny. Went to a family reunion at the farm this weekend and one of my uncles commented how hot it was in the food line. It wasn't even close to hot. I said it's not hot in here and asked him if he was going thru menopause again. Every 70 plus year old that heard it was still laughing about it a half hour later.

i majored in history...thirty years is nothing...

i actually liked -most- of the republicans up until this year when nearly all of them simultaneously abandoned conservatism for trumpism...the only ones i didn't like were the specters and snowes and mccains and so on...

that all changed when there was a hostile takeover of the republican party earlier this year and most of the party went vichy...

prior to that the main difference between the republican party and trump was that the republicans stood for limited government...at least in principle...whereas trump is a big government statist...
Okay, fair enough. I don't agree with everything you said in the post I quoted, but it is a reasoned response.
I am just tired of the negativity you keep pounding Trump with.
He is probably going to win (just my gut).
I think it would be refreshing if you took another tact...

jeremiah got criticized for not being 'constructive' enough too...

i view the trumpist hero worship and the stark moral laxity that goes with it as a direct threat to the church...and as any christian should i am going to keep sounding the alarms about attacks on the church...

by the way...i literally just quoted ronald reagan earlier today on another thread...contrasting his attitude towards government with trump's... 'government is not the solution to the problem...government is the problem' versus '-my- government will be the solution to the problem'
It seems your responses just beg for quotes from past presidential candidates.
Rachel, your no Jeremiah.

What's this, a moment away from moral laxity? How quaint.
the reality is that you are mistaking an observation for a wish...
