Peculiar?
Yes, indeed we will be accused by those who do not understand as being a Peculiar people.
But that was for a particular purpose.
To keep ourselves set apart (didn't mean to avoid those who were "unclean" and "uncircumcised") so as to be a light to all men that they might come to know of GOD'S SALVATION in, by and through the ONE who is the ONE and ONLY TRUE LIGHT which lighteth all men.
How does one become peculiar, or become a light, or become a witness?
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do
[them]; for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people. For what nation [is there so] great, who [hath] God [so] nigh unto them, as the LORD our God [is] in all [things that] we call upon him [for]? Deuteronomy 4:5-7 (KJV)

You are correct but DiscipleMike will not accept it.
I spent a lot of time explaining this too.
You can't say every day is your Sabbath. Here is why.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exodus 20:8 (KJV)

To declare or keep (guard) something holy, is to sanctify it. It is to set it apart from the others. If all days are the same, then none of them are set apart.

Now, can you pray every day? Do Bible study every day? Worship every day? Sing "Just as I am" every day. Sure you can. However, the Creator made one specific day His (weekly) Sabbath. He told us to guard it and keep it holy. I hope you see what I mean.

Good start. But how is that a witness to other nations? What does it look like? How does that translate into a person seeing you and saying, "hmmm, I want to be like that person"?

[SUP]11 [/SUP]If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Go examine your own fruit and leave the sheep to The Shepherd who is able to direct the members of His Body and equip the members of His Body to do what He prepared them in advance to do

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

This is saying that we should "walk" in the way that God told us to. That is exactly right.

Sure the High Priest changed, to the Son of God. Now show me the verse where it says He deleted His Own Sabbaths.

Then why did you say "good start"?
if you understand one needs to first be in Christ Jesus you would have understood that it is God at work in that one to will and to do His good pleasure

Good start?

The ONLY WAY AND THE ONLY START!
How can the sheep be shepherded if they are outside The Door(Christ) unto the sheepfold?

How can they say they belong to Messiah when they don't walk like He walked?

Sure the High Priest changed, to the Son of God. Now show me the verse where it says He deleted His Own Sabbaths.
HE surely did not delete His Rest.

Hebrews 7:15-16
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

No ma'am. I have not accused any particular person here. The "they" I used referred to the "sheep" in your quote.

Hey pop, all that means is that the Levitical priest became priest only because they were from the tribe of Levi. The order of Melchisedec is not based on who your mom and dad were.

Are you the Shepherd then? Can't according to Gods word He judge between he "Fattened, filled, and fed sheep" and the little, lean, baby lambs"

And if those who profess themselves to be so "fat and filled and fed" are muddying the waters behind them. He will judge it

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Hebrews 7:18-19
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

What does that mean?
