And herein lies the real issue, we can either believe what we "think" or "feel" or what the Word of God says.
But Philippians 3:20 really doesn't say that we reside in heaven. It is where our spirit is from and dwells, but we are more than our spirit.

You do realize this discussion is talking of being perfect and sinless here on earth not in our spirit correct?
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

This I posted a total of four times ... did you not even read what I wrote?

Our spirit IS in heaven and holy and perfect before God
Our soul is here still in the process of being sanctified.

"They" can say what they will. God says my citizenship is in Heaven and I await the return of Jesus from there. It also says im righteous and condemnation free. I know it's a hard concept, I know it doesn't "feel" like that. I have learned if I think or feel one thing and God says something else one of us is mistaken. Hint, it isn't God.
I can see you have no intention of listening and trying understand what I am saying you appear to just want to argue either that or you really don't hear what I am saying. Honestly I get this strange feeling Johnlove was banned and your one of his alternate accounts and I am not saying this is true by any means i just have to be honest

Yes I am a Christian, and the way I know that is true, is that the Holy Spirit has given me the grace to keep God’s Word/Commandments. I have answered your question, not tell me how you know that you are a Christian.
I'm Christian even though I don't always keep God's Word/Commandments. I'm not perfect, just forgiven. Its called living by grace, and yes, the Holy Spirit tells me so.

We are spiritually one with Lord by the Holy Spirit in our spirits. There is no separation in the Spirit. We have our new spirit within us when we received and it is both inside of us and one with Christ at the same time seated with Him in heaven.

This is not something you understand with our natural mind. It is spiritually discerned.

And of course to those that only use their natural mind - the truth of being one with the Lord and being in heaven too is "gnostic"....it's the nature of the beast.

We are to set our minds ( a part of our soul ) on things above where we are seated with Christ now. The inner man created in Christ is the new creation and it was created in righteousness and holiness.

1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Keeping our minds on spiritual realities that are in Christ because we are in Him - will transforms us. Romans 12:2

Colossians 3:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

I suppose it's preferable to make false accusations and attack when someone tries to show you the truth than to continue to try and prove a false point. That is ok, paul went through much worse. None are so blind as they who will not see.

Those who think that they are perfected have a certain arrogance about them.

That's what the gnostics thought.
actually I think he is correct in this. You know I look in the mirror everyday and everyday I feel like I am looking at a total stranger I don't recognize the person I see in the mirror and can't even look in my own eyes for to long before turning away because I feel like I am staring at a different person and it becomes awkward.
This didn't beginto happen until I began to try to believe who God says I am and perhaps this is why I only see a stranger in the mirror because when i see the person I used to see when I looked in the mirror I only saw a loser an ugly person a filthy wretched worm but then when I think of what God would say of me or see when he looks at me what he thinks when he thinks of me it's the exact opposite

Even the demons say thet Jesus Christ is Lord ... and shudder ... what separates you from them?
Hmmm, let's see now, oh I don't know, maybe its because . . .

GOD CALLED HER AND SHE RESPONDED WITH FAITH AND LOVE.

What a stupid comment posed towards a person who loves the Lord.

The problem begins when people look at the promises of God which we are told to look forward to and they lump them with the salvation of us as being afar off.. The actual catching up is.. but the work of making sure your soul will be saved is a process for now.. We are not "set" to be saved just bc we say some prayer.. It's a process to work out the corruption in our souls.. If you believe that Christ died for you to attain the promises that if you do it you'll receive it, you will in fact receive it...
You are not saved by works alone..
You're saved bc you believe that if you press to transform your soul, and live a life that pleases God bc you are becoming like His son, you'll be saved... Huge difference

I didn't mean to make a false accusation I simply spoke what I was feeling and I would rather be honest and be seen as making a false accusation than to be dishonest. I told you this with no intention of accusing I only was being honest and if I appeared to be making an accusation I sincerely apologize if I did accuse id so in ignorance but that doesn't excuse it. However can you explain to me where and how I have attacked you?

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. :)

So paul was a gnostic?
Yes...it some people's natural minds..and apparently so was the Lord Jesus Christ "gnostic" as well..Here He is praying that as the Father and Him are one so we also would be one with them. I'm sure His prayer was answered...selah

John 17:21 (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
