The following is minor work God had me do:​

Jesus is God​


Introduction​

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 1 Timothy 3:16-17. As this as our foundation, we move on, to edify the biblical truth that Jesus is God. "...A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." - Deuteronomy 19:15. Knowing that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness...", we look to Deuteronomy 19:15 to lead us into how we are going to establish that Jesus is God.

The Witnesses​

Our first witness is Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.". Our next witness, is John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, andthe Word was God.". Our next witness is John 10:30, "I and the Father are one.". Our next witness is John 14:9, "...Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father...". Our last witness, is Romans 9:5, "Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.".


Based on the testimony of these witnesses let it be established that Jesus is God!​

Jesus is God and that is the truth and what a truth it is -im still amazed and im glad that the holy spirit allows me to see this.ht
The only way, truth and the light
Mid 2008(during a ruff period) i begun to doubt this truth though i think i mayb never understood this in the first place and in one amazing moment god answered some prayers of my heart and revealed to me just how big this truth is.
I dig it

And I guess that is why Jesus preaches that we should love thy neighbors as we love ourselves. Praise the LORD

Jesus is God’s Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1, 14).

When I first started Bible studies, I always thought of Jesus as the Son of God but then I was introduced to the doctrine of the Trinity. I was force to consider these facts.

1) Thomas the disciple believed Jesus was God, "Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"” (John 20:28).

2) “We are not stoning you for any of these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33), Jesus claimed to be God!

3) We are told to only worship God(Revelation 19:10), Jesus is worshipped many times(Matthew 2:11, Luke 24:52, John 9:38). Jesus is God because he receives worship and only God is allowed worship.

4) Both in (Titus 2:13) and (2 Peter 1:1) tell us to wait for our God and Savior.

5) God the Father even calls Jesus God in (Hebrews 1:8).

So with that knowledge I consider Jesus God.

Heb 1:2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;



Heb 1:8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.


The Father said that Jesus was God, thats seals it for me, yep! Jesus is God (PTL)

PRAISE and PEACE UNTO U ALL..... HI, ITS ME AGAIN, YOUR SISTER IN CHRIST. I'VE BEEN MEDITATING ON JOHN 1;1

AND WHAT IVE COME UP WITH IS THIS: Our FATHER JEHOVAH and his son EMMANUAL are both God as we in CHRIST are also. JESUS is the head and we (his disciples with the SPIRIT of GOD which are christians who serve him in SPIRIT an in TRUTH) are the body.

I believe the confusion is , that every one hear the word GOD and think ( singular). But GOD actually is plural, meaning there are many within 1. GODS name is not GOD He has many names but GOD is not one of them. I believe the word GOD is the SUPREME BEING of JEHOVAH, EMMANUAL, an true christians, Just as all mankind are humans. Remember Jesus told the suddess that the script said that we were GODS. ( we dont go around calling each other human so an so, for we would have much confusion. I really believe thats why our FATHER said for us to get to know him by being intimate an having a relationship. Calling him GOD, has to seem so impersonal to him....( dear human ....I mean dear GOD ) seems so distant... no wonder were confused. We wont even call him by his name or address him as our daddy thus showing we trust him as well as trying to have a closeness with him I'm sure he would appreciate, an love.

I believe old covenant teaching and failure to regonize that we are under a new convenant has us confused, questionable an spinning our wheels thus preventing us from knowing with certainty what is what. Under the old covanant ..God told the people he was the one and only living, and at the time, that was true. He told them that because they (the unbelievers of the living GOD) believed in wood gods , moon gods, wind gods, you name it and it was a god or goddess. ( it was believed that abrahaam himself had to have believed in other gods, because of his surroundings before GOD had him to leave his land)

However, under the new covenant, with the resurrection of CHRIST, who is also GOD, we must know that GOD , has to mean more then one, because in REV: it states that no -one could open the book of life except the righteous lamb (JESUS) who got the key from the one who sat on the throne (GOD) therefore we must know that just as our FATHER and his son are separate on earth they are like wise separate in heaven. But just as husband an wife are separate, but are one, so is the FATHER, the SON and the body of CHRIST.

But to sum it all up...yes..JESUS is GOD in the flesh, He is The Son of GOD, our SAVIOR, the ANOINTED one, the MESSIAH, an our brother. But he is not GOD THE FATHER even though they are ONE

God the FATHER reproduced GOD the SON. I dont believe GOD the SON can reproduce GOD the FATHER. JESUS himself told the man who called him great...that none was great but GOD the FATHER...... thats in RED......lol

(remember right before he ascended I believe he told Peter to go tell his brotherens. that he was about to do something i forget the story but i remember he called us his siblings..(it was the only time he called us brotherens- we were servants, and everything esle but at that moment we were brotherens)) ...... We became a real family at the resurrection of christ. Thus far making us all GOD through CHRIST. we have authority to heal the sick cast out demons, and raise the dead. But lets be clear....we are not Greater then GOD THE FATHER or HIS SON. We are the body JESUS is the HEAD and Jehovah is Over us ALL.........GOD BLESS

the teaching of the trinity is false doctrine this doctrine developed gradually over several centuries...by the end of the fourth century the doctrine was pretty much just accepted .

hey kselby... i just wanted to share some scriptures with you that helped me.... I really wish you would read my thread a couple of threads above yours...... since our FATHER said he would teach us, and that he would have none to be ignorant who call upon him, we can rest assure when we search scripture we can agree that JESUS is GOD (matt 1;23) (Gen 1:1), as well as being GOD he is also the living word (john 1:1) . You are right JESUS is not JEHOVAH GOD the CREATOR, but he is GOD and the son of GOD the FATHER, just like we are humans and the sons and daughters of humans. That does not offend, lessen our FATHERS position, or take anything away from GOD the FATHER. read (john 5;23) an john (20;28)

Jesus teaches us to LOVE our FATHER and that non is greater then our FATHER. an at the same time our FATHER tells us to believe in JESUS his son and for us to hear him. They are one, in GOD (BEINGS) with different positions, (FATHER AND SON) ..... Just like we are one in christ, with different positions...JESUS being the head and christians the body, and together we make the entire body.

.R you serious....do u really believe that... tell me you are kidding.... GOD provides ..JESUS saves, and the HOLY SPIRIT teaches... read 1cor 2; 10-16... for now..i will leave this alone. but there is much evidence to proove that JEHOVAH is GOD THE FATHER, the holy spirit is part of GOD that teaches us of GOD and JESUS is GOD.... i dont know the verse ..but it says if we speak against the holy spirit we are in real trouble... so be very careful what you say about the trinity. FATHER, SON, SPIRIT :eek:

I always wondered -- who does God pray to?
It's a logical question - if Jesus is God
Jesus prayed to somebody or something.
Why would God Almighty have to pray to anyone?
Or did He pray to Himself?

I also always wondered how God -- Who is eternal and Spirit - can die?
God cannot die - He is eternal; He is Spirit.

I know Jesus was tempted in all things but God cannot be tempted with evil.

Is God sitting at His own right hand?

The questions can go on and on..........but if Jesus is the Son of God.........all my questions disappear.

I love simplicity

I love you guys..........my fight is always with the Adversary and his host of devil spirits
When I get to teach the truth, it puts fear in the Adversarys realm
