It's news because the forum spent about 3 weeks discussing how transgenders/ gays are an abomination (others' words, not mine) and how allowing them in public women's bathrooms was going to signal the end of the world as we know it.
This story seems to be an "I told you so" kind of thing.

I told you so ...:) Look its really very simple if you read and believe the bible ..this sort of behavior defines a society and a people that have rejected God in the extreme. It is clearly defined throughout scripture as the type of sin that brings Gods Judgment against mans rebellion.

Yes..... which makes the story fit EXACTLY into the Christian News forum, in my mind. CS1 was wondering why it was posted here..

I'm happy the incident appears to only include "voyeurism", and not some aggressive physical act..... which, sadly, I think is bound to happen sooner than later.
There are a lot of sick predatorial types out there, that are probably ecstatic that Target, and other stores have chosen to make this issue loud and public, instead of simply going with the common sense notion of "don't ask, don't tell"...

Just playing devil's advocate for a minute:

Sexual deviants will be deviants regardless of allowances and/or legislation directed to hinder their efforts. If a coach is caught with hidden cameras directed to girls'/boys' showers and/or dressing rooms, should we ban coaches? Should we ban school sports altogether?

If an a person uses his legally permitted firearm to rob a bank, do we ban all firearms? What would you say to the ultra left wing anti-gun advocate who says, "I told you so..." when he had the foresight to warn what would happen if we keep firearms legal? Does he have a point in saying "I told you so"?

Personally, I think using scare tactics (men will pretend to be transgender to prey on women and young girls) is a ridiculous reason to be opposed to transgendered people from using the restroom. A predator will prey regardless... the real issue is the ethics/morality (or lack thereof) of being transgendered. We don't address the morality of this issue by outlawing people from going to the restroom they identify with, but by teaching them what the word of God has to say about it.

I agree.. what I don't like is all the attention being brought to this issue. While a predator is going to prey, I speculate that they would at least be hesitant to enter a women's bathroom, before it became a national issue.

We all know that a true transgender man, for example, dressed to the best of his ability as a woman, will most likely pass all but the closest scrutiny, and in all likelihood has been going into women's bathrooms for quite some time. No harm, no foul, because in his mind, he is a woman.

Now that the issue has been forcefully brought to the forefront, where once there was no issue, now there IS. The predator can now dress however badly as a woman, knowing that even if a store employee suspects they are not what they purport to be, they cannot legally prevent them from going on in.

It has simply added an extra, unnecessary "worry" to parents of small children, and other women in general.

We Christian folks are being blamed for not being "accepting" for this very reason?

As a woman, it seems to me a woman screaming for the guy to delete the pictures tells me it's a little more than passive too.

A coach should be vetted BEFORE given permission to go into the boys'/girls' locker rooms.

What is the percentage of legal firearms to illegal firearm relating to crime? (Most violent crime is done with illegal firearms.)

When was the last time you heard of a woman attacking/photographing other women in a women's-only room.

I don't think you'd make a good lawyer. You also have difficulty with the word "ridiculous."

Just wondered, has Target had a drop in sales since they decided to mix things up.
Yeah, they had a HUGE drop. While competitors started making more than expected. Loss in stock values, etc... they have already suffered.

I've only been there once since that decision was announced. I was kinda forced in going with my wife.

SO vetting makes for 100% guarantee a coach won't do this? No? Then you missed his point entirely.

What is the percentage of legal firearms to illegal firearm relating to crime? (Most violent crime is done with illegal firearms.)
What relevance does this have to do with the hypothetical scenario he posed?

When was the last time you heard of a woman attacking/photographing other women in a women's-only room.
Once again, what relevance is this?

He would be a much better lawyer than you. While you and I actually agree on guns, he makes a better case than you and it's not even close. Your response to his questions are completely irrelevant to the point he's making. I'm 100% pro guns, and disagree with him about the need for more regulations, but even I can acknowledge he makes pretty compelling points.
