I don't 'do' depressing. But i have a chemical imbalance that causes depression.
I don't 'do' miserable. But i have gone through so much that it's impossible not to get down. And having depression makes it harder for me.
I don't 'do' chaos, but that doesn't mean i'm not going to screw up sometimes.
The Psalms are full of expressions of depression and misery. So i guess you don't 'do' Psalms either.
Other areas of the bible can express such things as depression, misery and chaos. I guess you don't 'do' those parts of the bible either.
Well, thank you for alerting me that i am beneath you and that you will not tolerate someone as bad as me. I promise to avoid you as i wouldn't want my imperfections and internal and outward struggles to cause you to stumble over someone so lowly. I hope to one day transcend from this pathetic, human form, and to attain your level of enlightenment. But until then i will just remember how unworthy i am and keep my distance.

That's a little harsh. Anyone is subject to depression , something can come along to make you miserable without you inviting it and chaos isn't something we get to choose. I do understand if you mean drama, but the rest are not things people choose. I don't face depression , thank God, but it doesn't mean I never will. My life isn't miserable, but it could be tomorrow and I pray nothing chaotic hits my world anytime soon. If you don't face these things how about praying for the people that do instead of being so rude . Post like these make me very sad. Seems like people are no longer compassionate.

I too have this same problem and have dealt with depression most of my life. It is difficult to get people to understand. For us it is a physical problem just like cancer or anything else. I have been on anti-depressants for near 40 years (a lot better than they use to be). LOL I tell people I was depressed before depression became popular.
I thank God for it because it has certainly made me compassionate toward others. Yes there are all types of depression, situational, etc. But ours remains with us no matter what. But, I know, as you do, that God is faithful and sees us through each and everyday.
