Ok fair enough.....do you want him to get on his knees for you on national television and do a Jimmy Swaggart?
What I would like is some humility. Which is why his lack thereof costs him a vote for me.
Humility is the willingness to be known for who you are....it isn't kicking rocks and saying awe shucks, golly gee whillicker. Trump seems pretty willing to be known for who he is to me.
So is the jock that thinks he can do whatever he wants since he's the captain of the basketball team.
I'm really sorry but you're projecting something here and comparing the incomparable. A jock picks on the weak because they are insecure. Trump picked on a reporter because the reporter picked a fight.
It's more than just an incident with a reporter. But I digress. You've already got a painted picture in your mind.
Do you expect Trump to be perfect in his dealings with people? Are you perfect in your dealings with people? Do you ever sin against another human being? Do emotions never get the best of you and you say something unkind to someone?
If you really believe those answers are yes, yes, no, and no, then you're going to have a hard time.
Not that I need to explain myself to you... But as I have said before, humility and principles mean a lot to me. Which is why I identify a lot with Carson. Which is why my vote goes to Carson. Again, I digress. And I don't need to explain my vote or my reasoning, especially when it's already been known.
You have a certain personality type that appeals to you and that you identify with. It's legitimate but it doesn't make you right. I'll give you an example. Years ago I was in counseling with my first wife. When the writing was on the wall and we decided to call it quits we both agreed to stay in counseling for the benefit of our son. We were in counseling sessions with two counselors. One was a mild mannered guy sorta like carson and I liked him a lot. I identified with his meek persona. The other was a brash outspoken woman much like Trump who rubbed me wrong in almost every way. They gave us the choice as to which one to continue counseling with. I chose the one I disliked and didn't identify with because I knew she would be the best for me. Boy am I glad I did.

I can agree with that...but I don't know you. I've been beat up pretty good by well meaning Christians. If I hung out with you, you would probably like me. I'm a selfless person who sacrifices for others. But I don't take crap from people. I used to be a doormat. I'm not a doormat anymore and my "opinion"...when it boils right down to it...matters as much as yours. I don't do one up one down relationships. I find them to be unhealthy. I don't allow others to manipulate me or cut me down....I walk away from those kind of people.
I wish you would walk away from Donald J.Trump. LOL
He's done nothing wrong to me. He has raised issues that are important to me and weren't being talked about until him. You should thank him for raising the awareness of the dire straights we are in as a country.
IDK,the things I've heard him say were at best Ignorant,at worst,dangerous.Although he DOES have a chance against a weak opponent like Hillary,but If he wins,I hope he picks excellent people.
that we need to stop the unfettered flow of muslim refugees? That we need to make better trade deals? That we need to make it "attractive" for American companies to stay here? That we need to have a strong military? That we need to be strong financially by making better deals? That we need to put America and Americans first?
I see nothing "ignorant" about any of that.
I guess thats what makes him guilty,because he says one thing and then walks it back except the childish bully personal things he says about people.
So you have a choice to make. Sit at a red light while it turns green...then yellow and back to red while you got a line of cars behind you honking their horns for you to get going.
