What?

I think someone call me to PLAY (Click this on)

This is another opinion: Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lol yes I am aware of pretty much the only significant Wolfgang in world history's list of names lol. Like I said not a bad name, but I wouldn't name my kid it moreso because I like a lot of the names people been listing that they wouldn't name their kids due to how cool they sound and reference to biblical or very ancient european history which I am most familiar with lol.

Though when I think of it some of the Biblical names I do tend to favor over others. Lol Zerubbabbel is a cool name but I wouldn't name a kid it indeed lol. Likewise though I feel John and Mark and Dan and such are pretty common and I guess like the somewhat more unique names though some are actually somewhat in a culturally normal fashion. Some Biblical names I would at least consider are like Elijah, Samuel, Adam, Noah, Seth, Kenan, Levi, Joseph, Gideon, Jehu, Simon, Tiras, Malachi, Paul, and Phillip.

Outside of the Bible there's plenty of decent names too I would consider, most of which are traditional european names. Heh I like some of the odder names I guess but that doesn't mean I'm bent on one particular, merely ones I'd at least entertain lol.

As for the women's names I always kinda assumed if I had a wife I'd let her mostly make the decision of that, though naturally anything too wierd be out of the question lol. Much of the women's biblical names are very nice I think from Eve, Mary, Miriam, Sephora (which is Zipporah Moses' wife, but I like how Sephora is pronounced better lol, obviously wouldn't want a girl teased as Zippy), Martha, Ruth, Rebecca/Rebekkah, Sarah or even her name before Sarah, Sarai, Esther is pretty name but that's the biblical Esther's slave name I also like her birthname, Hadassah which is somewhat uncommon name nowadays, Rachel, Leah, and Elizabeth

@ Godsalvation

I'm not quite sure of that and, if it was so, why Aaron and Miriam argued with Moshem? (Who knows?)

I just remember the problems "Aby" had with the "concubine" he had, the one his wife gave to get some children... That was another "foreigner", althought I know none were Mormons.

Ja! Ha!

You are ALL right! :)

Zipporah is mentioned only once more in the Bible; namely, in Numbers xii. 1, where she is referred to as "the Ethiopian woman," for having married whom Moses is upbraided by Miriam and Aaron.

The name "Cushite" was given to her, it is said, because she was distinguished from other women by her beauty, even as the Ethiopians differed from other people in their complexions. The circumstance that she is twice referred to in one verse as "the Ethiopian" (Num. xii. 1) is explained as indicating that her actions were as distinctive as her beauty, and that she conducted herself no less royally while in her father's house than when she became the wife of Moses (Yalḳ., Shim'oni, 1238; comp. also M. Ḳ. 16b; Yer. Sanh. x. 28d).

Lol from the account it seems like Miriam did most the arguing, and it seems like Miriam particularly was insulting Moses/Moshe's wife out of her own pride. Lol Miriam be making fun of her skin color (dark) and racial heritage (Cushite). Though I think this was moreso cause Miriam was proideful and wanted to be a prophetess. I always liked the way God punished Miriam for this too. Don't hate Miriam cause God could have killed her, but observe the just punishment He gave by turning her leprously snow white (very poetic punishment indeed!) God even gave his reasons too and also was cool enough to explain to her that Moses was just God's servant, not a Prophet, and God even give us some insight into how He would use a real Prophets. Lol just gotta keep reading the story, it answers itself. Now don't hate Miriam either for this because she had to sit in her shame for 7 days, and she did, and obviously even though she was pretty much insulting the crap out of Moses he still asked God to forgive her. Seems like some inter-family drama to me, something that is not uncommon even in today's time with similar undertones.

Heh I get your point though on why some people think Moses had two wives considerring Abraham had sex with Hagar (though mind you Hagar was Sarah's slave and Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham because she was old and doubted she'd have kids.) However also consider since Genesis and Numbers are attributed to Moses and Moses was bluntly honest to the point of even admitting he was a murderer that I think he would have let us know if he had taken a 2nd wife just like he let us know his ancient forebear Abraham had sex with Hagar. If you can kinda see what I mean. It wouldn't make sense for Moses to include the one and not the other and he couldn't have been embarassed cause come on the dude admits he murdered an Egyptian; why wouldn't he admit a little thing like taking a second wife?

At any rate here is some secular wikipedia knowledge of Sephora (though of course the Bible knowledge is much better, but you can use this to go back and cross-reference I guess.)
Zipporah - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heh, even though we don't know much about her I always liked her as the minor character she is. Always liked her name, and she seems to be good woman (even saves Moses from being destroy by the Lord when Moses forgot to circumsize Gershom).. Also wikipedia page includes couple different ways to pronounce her name. Sepphora, Zipporah, Tzipora, Sippora, Saffurah. Not a bad name for a girl in my opinion, sounds pretty.

Heh wikipedia is a decent reference in my opinion and I have held to that for a while. However any reference has its spin, take any mainstream American Media in relationship to our Modern Era for example (FOX, CNN, NBC). The real key is the cross-reference. Just as I cross-reference the mainstream media for today's affairs against eachother and the foreign media so too do I do this in regard to with wikipedia, secular history, and the Bible. Look at it this way, wikipedia gives us questions to examine about Tziporah and we can then use the Bible to better come to a conclusion about those questions. Its amazing how many people have common questions about people or events in the Bible, and the Bible itself all ready pretty much have the answer usually just a few verses away from the part they question.

Apart from the Bible though wikipedia is at minimum good for looking up language though, especially in relations to names. So one of the things it can give us is how different people's names is pronounced in different language and culture. Which makes biblical names pretty cool cause not only in English do they sound cool, but for picking a kid's name, if you wanna break the english mundanity you can still pick a biblical name but merely use the pronunciation of another language.

Lol I did note they didn't include Zippy yet in the wikipedia (lol the Zippy remark made me literally lol I should note.) I guess modern American slang hasn't enterred the official secular historical name system yet, but if you look at some of the names people my age in America pick for their kids it's on its way to getting in there lol :D

: a word or way of speaking or behaving which shows that a person belongs to a particular group

When I was a kid I'd tell my parents ii was changing my name to Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie's former stage name. I wasn't a huge Bowie's fan, I like some of his songs, I just liked the name. I'm glad I changed my mind.
