Did Melania Trump plagiarize, in part, Michelle Obama's speech?

melania's guilt really is in claiming that she wrote almost all of her speech herself...when evidently she didn't and had no idea that there were michelle obama lines in it...

by most accounts she didn't even want to do her speech...her husband forced it on her...

it has also come to light that melania trump has been lying about her education...she claims to have a degree in architecture from a slovenian university...but according to her biographers she was a first year dropout and never returned to school...and that it was her husband donald trump who told her to start claiming to be a university graduate...

apparently donald trump decided that melania wasn't good enough as she was and that she needed to lie in order to make her fit into a certain ideal in public...

it makes me wonder what else about the trump family public image is a fabrication...and reminds me a lot of obama's suspiciously sanitized biography that was presented to the public...

i really feel bad for melania now...being obligated to continually lie for your husband's sake is the stuff of abusive relationships...

while mostly i find this particular situation sad and i feel bad for melania trump...the one thing i do find amusing is that the part of the speech about having to do hard work and show respect was someone else's work and the writer didn't have the respect to give credit to the original source...

see my analysis earlier in this thread...i think someone wrote it for her and in fact maliciously set her up for this humiliation...a truly sleazy and mean thing to do...

i have noticed that this commotion over a couple of paragraphs has taken attention away from the entire rest of melania trump's speech...her voice has been drowned out by the controversy...

to give her the courtesy of people actually getting her whole message instead of just focusing on a small controversial bit at the expense of the rest...here is the full speech...

Its just that I thought she was taking credit for writing the speech and If that Is true,why would I trust her judgement?:)

Well, it seems to be out now. Looks like Ms. Trump wrote that part in because she admired Ms. Obama, among others, and the speech overseer didn't check it. Kind of lame, I think, but the Trump family has excused her, saying she made a mistake, and they won't fire her for that.

Yeah, but it DOES point out that the whole Trump machine is lacking in professional accuracy. He cannot afford stupid mistakes like that if he happens to get elected.... which, as I have said before, is not too great a likelihood. He's the better choice, but Hillary has the numbers behind her.
