the natural does want to do those things willie. the natural is the sinful nature. that's why the bible teaches us to put to death the earthly nature it is evil, corrupt, rebellious, violent, deceitful it is born of decepotion in the garden. that's the whole purpose of Jesus death, to redeem us from that nature. to pay that death sentence and kill the sinner in us, while giving us a new spirit that is bound and born of righteousness.
to see his point one needs only to look at the world around us, even in the church. no one can judge another persons salvation. not even their own salvation. there is one Judge when all is said and done. judging is different than recognizing a destructive false doctrine, a heretic should be called a herecy needs to have light shined on it. its no skin off my neck if the truth offends folks, it has always and will until the end. whoever lives as taught By Gods word can fully depend on Gods promise. am I saying a person has to be perfect, no, I'm saying they need to accept as the truth, obedience to Jesus. that's the first and most important part. to accept what He clearly says. when we truly accept we are supposed to obey, because of faith, we will.
as long as we try to avoid the truth of obedience to righteousness, well never be able to obey by faith. as long as we swallow a doctrine that eliminates consequences of our actions, our actions will never change. we cant claim salvation if were more in love with sin than Jesus. just saying Lord lord is a deception its living life for the one who lived and died for us. and living for him is simple. learn what He says and do what he is saying to do. he himself is the one who makes obedience important, essential in His own words. as does paul, james, john, peter, jude....as did the ot prophets as did God in the garden. it has never and will never change willie. sin is death, righteousness is life. Jesus took our sin and gave us his righteousness. that's grace, no longer have the excuse I'm just a sinner, no, the word is clear, the sinner died if you believe. now there is only a redeemed , free, new, clean and powerful righteous, holy, chosen child of God adopted through faith in Christ, fully equipped for every good work. grace did all that, now......will the new man live or will the new man choose death as did adam and eve?
grace is NOT what is taught today so popularly. its still all about the actions that come from the heart. if a man is new let him live as such having full confidence that he is new. if a man is a sinner let him confess it to God and be made new. all about righteousness, and peace. grace made it all possible
