No Church of England churches? I think they should be fairly safe.
When I moved to Scotland I just walked about in town and looked for church buildings. I ended up talking to people outside one of them, which became my "main church" (Church of Scotland), but I occasionally visited two other churches (Methodist and Episcopal). Very different styles, but same message
