A twenty-five year old bleeding heart liberal voting in his 1st presidential election is gonna lecture ANYBODY about conscience, morals, or what's good for the country?
Pah-hah, my sides ache.

And 'reporting' threads is sissy enough, but can be understood, though there SHOULD be a consensus among the active participants.

But reporting a sister or brother in Christ, or something they posted, unless it's REALLY disgusting or a direct dangerous threat, (in which case, I'd doubt they're a sibling) is just sooo puny.

It's really sad that people who claim to be saved and have a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe, (think of it), can't have some discussion, some heated at times discussion, then still move on and be friends and more, without instead ratting to the authorities, reporting each other like little school kids, even getting family members permanently abandoned. For what, a verbal dispute that in the big picture won't amount to a hill of beans?

We all need to get over ourselves, some way more than others.
We've got a powerful enemy out there that wants to destroy us.
We also have a more powerful Savior that prayed for our unity,
just before He went and purchased it with His own blood.

None of us is worthy, but because of Him, OUR Savior, none of us is that bad that we shouldn't be fighting FOR each other, not against.

(And that's MY little lecture for today)
May God have mercy, and give us all peace, love,
and the joy of His salvation.

Let's not pick on anyone here. Life is pretty tough and lots of people are in tough situation and it undoubtedly affects how we respond and see the world. Let's let by gones be by gones.

"But by the grace of God, there go I".

It should never get heated, though. Don't sin in your anger. Don't go to bed angry. Honestly, it doesn't matter what you may think of me. I'm just words on a screen, and nothing that could be said could come across as good or truth. I am really sorry you feel the way you do. As I told a brother privately how politics are bringing the worst out of me, I'm going to tell you publicly how I'm going to refrain from any more political conversation. I pray I make the right decision come November. I pray you continue to seen God's Will also, not just for this election. As I pray the same for me, too. That's my final post.

you proved my idea that when conflict is dealt with in a Godly way it brings connection. I think you bring much to the table. Words on a page allow for people to misjudge your heart. The willingness to be misunderstood is a Godly trait.

This isn't sarcasm. The guy asked, several times, why he couldn't use a nuclear missile! Granted, the media is eating up he was mean to a mommy, but he really did ask that several times during a briefing.
Why not, it did wonders for Japan.

Speak loudly and carry a big stick...so as to be heard above all the media propaganda. Lol
It's funny how sometimes you think you type a home run of a post, really thought out and from the heart.

And you check and see it's been re-quoted a couple of times, but got no 'likes', and the responses are a bit chastising,
but then other times, you can sort of half-wittedly toss something out there, not really fully engaged in the thread, and the next thing you know, you got six new likes and a rep point! Lol.

Communication in the body of Christ! I love it, ya just gotta love it! :)

God bless you all here, if we can survive this upcoming 3 months and the election, without tearing each others heads off, we can conquer anything, we'll be stronger than ever in the Lord, and the devil better flee for good, lol.

But seriously, all thanks and praise go to Jesus, who is the true conqueror, and gives us the victory. Thank you Father God.

Bless His Holy Name.

Mitspa, Hi-----
Most juniors 25 years old have voted in all of ONE Presidential election, maybe 2, and most probably voted for Obama.

Out of guilt or peer-pressure, ignorance, or just plain stupidity, who knows.

Of those who did, most will probably vote for the Hollering C, for the same reasons, or to avoid having to check their ego and admit Obama's a leftist and anti-American, (in policy at least.)

The 'I'll-vote-my-conscience' game is an attempt to save face, maybe a little bit like Pilate washing his hands. (If YOUR country goes to pot, there's no blood on OUR hands, WE voted our conscience)

But, Where's their conscience, though, when the country continues to be destroyed by the left because they don't have the grown-up spine to vote against them.

These are the same types on chat sites that run to mommy and tattle (report) when someone says something they don't like, or pout in a corner (ignore), instead of engage in discussion, or simply move on to another thread.

That doesn't mean quitting or losing, it just means no more argument for now, but they're usually too green to understand that.

I actually saw one bring up an apparently old post (regarding a brother who wanted to work on building a relationship with his son) and try to throw it in his face as an insult, as if that had anything to do with the discussion.

Really low blow!

Really low, but consider the maturity level and that mentality. Just encouraging you to let the peace of God have its way inside you for now. It's going to be a long 3 months, and remember, Jesus is still on His throne.
Oh brother!

Because giving your opinion on other people's motives tells so much about the peace of God in you.

Ya...she's had it out for me. Apparently I offended her and she doesn't know how to deal with it except being hurtful. She brought something I shared in the family forum into the news forum to try and discredit me. I understand people have a bad day and I would have accepted an apology...but her heart is hardened towards me and continues to be on the attack. So if she punches me....I'll punch back.....it's the rez in me. Lol
Lady Lynn did this to you?

Actually, no one did, but in blind rage one must come up with an excuse to keep the rage.

I see you're still on the warpath. Maybe you should take a break from CC?

So you would withdraw your support for trump because of the behavior of his supporters? Huh? That makes no sense.
I never said it was for this reason alone. Does it turn me off, absolutely. It makes it easier to NOT vote for him, but it's not THE reason.

The biggest reason, as I've said, is I don't have a scriptural rebuttal to voting for evil (in the lesser of 2 evils). There are some really good Christian posters that have made me reconsider my voting for Trump in an effort to prevent Hillary.

Huh? You're German in Germany! You don't get a vote in American politics, or am I missing something?
lol I'm an American citizen, but you are correct in that I'm in Germany.

higher education teaches people to think but to not question what they are taught to think.
I've heard the same thing said to me in real life. I find it ironic that the men that told me this didn't even go to college to learn of this, yet they know this as a fact.

If people are not Hillary supporters ..why are they repeating the exact same propaganda that is coming out of her campaign ...and not even trying to hash out how valid it is or not? Repeating propaganda is different than trying to have a honest discussion about a charge against Trump. Lets talk about the charges made against him..but lets be honest and not just repeat baseless attacks strait from the HRC campaign
So then do I have the right to call Trump a socialist?

Bernie Sanders, at it's conception, was against TPP. Trump later got on board and admits Sanders got it dead right on that issue.

Apparently if you have overlapping views/beliefs, you become that person. If a person who dislikes Trump and Hillary uses facts and allegations that the left wing (and even FOX News) reports on, then they are automatically a Hillary supporter? If so, then admit Trump is a socialist.

I find it hard to believe you are as you present yourself to be. I suppose there is some irony in that. I wondered why you disappeared for so long and it dawned on me that it was probably in the hopes of some past "sins" disappearing.

There's a difference between engaging in a civil conversation and engaging in personal attacks. You've done the latter. I've done the latter. Sirk and Mitspa have done the latter. Kim (I think that's her name) has done the latter. Almost anyone that comes here resorts to attacks at some point or another. So how is finally giving up and leaving considered going to the corner? When just going at it on here is such a waste of time and that time could be used much more wisely?/How is reporting threads that have gotten out of control "tattle telling" when such threads go against the rules? This has turned into compromise everything (beliefs, rules, conscience, you name it) just to do what? Try to make a point? You have your opinion and I have mine. It's good to just leave it at that. At the end of the day we ask God for guidance and we go with what we feel He is telling us, and we pray that it His will we are doing in the process. At least, that's what I want to do. I am in CR after all, and I really need to start applying the principles and steps more and more.

As for the 25-year-olds, I'll respond because I am 25. This will be my first election. In 2008 I was 17. In 2012, I was not registered to vote at the time. So I didn't vote for Obama because A: I was too young for his first term. And B: I wasn't even registered to vote as he ran for his second term. A lot of personal stuff was going on at that time, and voting/politics was simply just not on my mind or at my concern at this time. Not that I don't really need to explain why, but figured might as well as I was typing this.
I think you and Voldemort are really sweet. Both of you have messaged me in hopes I respond in kindness while others do their best Trump impersonation.

My favorite Trump supporter is Mitspa: He repeats himself a lot and is blinded by Trump's misconduct, but he actually makes me laugh and doesn't say anything to personal attack me.

Voldemort is the Bernie Sanders of chat. Always responding with substance and refusing to attack anyone that attacks him personally. He might be Gandhi reincarnated (just kidding).

Deplete is by far the funniest cutthroat chatter. Sometimes I drop my jaws when I read her posts. lol

Peacenik and Seed, in my head they are twin brothers. They should hang out, get a beer, and go bowling together.

Posthuman is like a poet. His posts are always well thought out and he really makes me question some of my beliefs sometimes.

Jenny is the most darling poster. She puts up with so much from Trump supporters. She sets an example on how to respect people even when they disrespectful.

Willie T... I'm convinced he's my grandpa. They think alike, talk alike, and are pretty darn far right. Always a pleasure hearing what they have to say, even if I disagree from time to time.

Utah is a good example of how to be a Trump supporter. He's passionate but respectful (at least to me he is).

There are many more people I'd comment on, but I don't have time. This is my attempt at being kind! :D

The VFW shouted "lock her up" ! at Hillary Clinton at their convention ..what some supposed "leader" of the VFW said about Trump calling that con-man out , does not matter. The son deserves respect for his service, the father and mother has shamed his service and the service of millions of other honorable service members by using his death as a way to spread lies and propaganda against our country. The man is a member of the muslim brotherhood ..he is as responsible for his own sons death as the muslim terrorist that killed him.

I join all those who stand in support of the Khan family. This family is our family, and any attack on this wonderful American Gold Star family is an attack on all patriotic and loyal Americans who have sacrificed to make our country great. Any politically or racially motivated attack on the Khans is despicable and un-American.

Captain Khan's commanding officer applauds him and his family. Too bad you and Sirk fail to do the same. But that is to be expected.
