I am really fed up with all the righteous people in the world just hoping people will do what they consider to be a sin so thy can murder them and feel all holy about it. So many psychopathic theists in the world. Is this Gods idea of humor?

the law is still in effect for those who are not led by the spirit

GALATIANS 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
If you are led by the spirit your not under the penalty of the law. According to the scriptures Jesus did not do away with the law but made the law greater. He magnified the law to a spiritual level. He made the 10 commandments even harder to keep.

2 COR. 3 [6] WHO ALSO HATH MADE US ABLE MINISTERS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT; NOT OF THE LETTER, BUT OF THE SPIRIT: FOR THE LETTER KILLETH, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

ROMANS 7 [4] Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. [5] For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. [6] But now we are DELIVERED FROM THE LAW, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should SERVE IN NEWNESS OF SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE OLDNESS OF THE LETTER.

As we can see in above scriptures we are now to walk in the spirit of the law. If we walk only in the letter of the law this will lead to death, but if we walk in the spirit of the law this leads to life.

MATTHEW 5 [20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. [21] Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, THOU SHALT NOT KILL; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: [22] BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT WHOSOEVER IS ANGRY WITH HIS BROTHER WITHOUT A CAUSE SHALL BE IN DANGER OF THE JUDGMENT: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

OLD LETTER- Thou shalt not kill
NEW SPIRIT- Don’t even get angry. Call no man a fool. Love one another in thought, word and deed.

MATTHEW 5 [27] Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, thou shalt not commit adultery: [28] But i say unto you, that WHOSOEVER LOOKETH ON A WOMAN TO LUST AFTER HER HATH COMMITTED ADULTERY with her already in his heart.

OLD LETTER- Thou shalt not commit adultery
NEW SPIRIT- Do not look on a woman to lust. Keep the law in our mind and spirit. Even in our eyes.

So you can see that Jesus did not do away with the letter of the law. Common sense will tell ya in order to walk in the spirit of the law you must also be walking in the letter. Jesus made the commandments even harder to keep and more honorable.

ISAIAH 42 [20] Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.[21] The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; HE WILL MAGNIFY THE LAW, and make it honourable.

Yes, Jesus magnified the law. He took the letter of the law (which leads to death) and magnified the law to a spiritual level (which leads to life). So Dan please tell me, if you are walking in the spirit of the law are you not also walking in the letter?

Our Heavenly Father just wants to spend a whole day with us each week. He gave us the Seventh Day Sabbath for this purpose. I mean, how awesome is it that I don't have to worry about regular work this tonight all the way to tomorrow night! instead I can focus on being a blessing to those around me and get way closer to His than I otherwise would be able to. I don't have to worry about secular work getting in the way of my time with Him. I have 6 days for that stuff, but on the Seventh day I get to be with God and my family and friends and meet new people without other anxieties and worries! Jesus is so awesome! in a sense, the Sabbath is a taste of heaven on earth.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
[SUP]12 [/SUP]How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Save the life of a sheep. Work? Healing on the sabbath. Work? Nope. Just doin good things

Jesus never changed the laws. He is the living law. If we have a problem with God's true word we are always wrong because He is God.

Jesus compares healing on the Sabbath with lifting a sheep out of a hole, which would be work

MATTHEW 12:11 He said to them, “What man is there among you, who has one sheep, and if this one falls into a pit on the Sabbath day, won’t he grab on to it, and lift it out?

Christians are called to spend every day with God and be free from anxiety and worry always.

this is a danger of Sabbath keeping, it leads to One for God, six for us thinking.

lord Jesus, please give my brother, and all of us, freedom from anxieties.

True!

1 CORINTHIANS 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

lifting a sheep out of a hole sounds like work to me

suppose you're strolling to church on the Sabbath.
you come to a car with a flat tire, little kids in the back seat, the mother struggling to lift the spare out.
you stop and help her change the tire.
the lug nuts were rusty, so it turned into an hour-long sweaty grimy job.

she drives away, kids waving out the back.
have you broken the Sabbath?

If i were you, id worry less about what you think work is and worry more about the work the Lord will do to those who wish to make void His law.

PSALM 119 [126] IT IS TIME FOR THEE, LORD, TO WORK: for they have MADE VOID THY LAW. [127] THEREFORE I LOVE THY COMMANDMENTS above gold; yea, above fine gold. [128] Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way

Time to go to work Lord

ROMANS 9 [28] For HE WILL FINISH THE WORK, and cut it short in righteousness: because A SHORT WORK will the Lord make upon the earth.

Itll be quick. Not painless

right! Jesus, led by the spirit, understands things about the law that are not there simply in the letter.

EXODUS 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.

The 4th commandment is the test commandment. Hypocritical people cant fake this one by just saying they are believers(By their fruit you shall know them).

People are presumptuous and stiff necked and value their presumptuous opinions above God's commanded instruction.

Exodys 16:4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 5And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

Hi Wall

It would seem you are confusing that seen, the letter with that not seen, the unseen Spirit (Christ's) the law of faith

It’s not led by any spirit as if we are led by our own spirit that is dead in trespasses and sin that does require it needs to be born again with a new spirit so that we then can work under his rest called the Sabbath. He is the Sabbath as to who it was made for.

Its if you are led by the Spirit of Christ, according to the work of Christ’s faith . He made the letter of the law to no effect by doing the work required to pay the eternal wage of sin.

The letter kills, the spirit of Christ according to the work of the Spirt saves. It’s the exclusive faith in respect to Christ’s work which provides us grace . Without his work of faith no man could believe God. he give us the ears not of our own selves lest any man boast in false pride.

It’s the law of faith in respect to the faith of God not the law according to the letter. So its not that there are no works required by whose work.Of God as the things of God or of men according to things of man.

Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith......... (Christ's the faith of God)

So you could say by being yoked with one that finished the work the ten commands are made easier. Seeing the penalty (eternal damnation never to rise to new spirit life forever more) has been taken away. Satan the father of lies wants to made the 10 commandments even harder to keep.

It would from my perspective seem you might be turning things upside down Salvation is a free gift with nothing on our behalf needed to make it whole.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Mat 11:28
