Yes, that's what sound fonts are basically. All sound cards come with their own packs of instrument sounds.

That's why MIDI files are so very small. MIDI is not audio, it's just basically sheet music for the computer. When you "play" a MIDI file the computer reads the sheet music and plays the tune with its own instruments.

But Spook Keys is a VSTi, a virtual instrument that you can load in a host (VSTHost for example) and play through a keyboard that is connected to the computer through USB.

And again, that's more than you probably wanted to know. Sorry, nerd reflex.

So, I got this done yesterday... I'm not big on tattoos unless the tat itself has deep meaning to me.. Like legit meaning, not just cause I like the design or whatever. I've wanted to get this tattooed on me for years, I just didn't have the courage to get it cause if you can see... It's on my wrist, I KNEW this would hurt.. And it did lol. BUT, so worth it.. I love my tattoo, and I love who I am.. There my thoughts for the day.

I'm with you Fenner. If watching women dance "sexy" for men's entertainment is humiliating (and it is) then watching excited women watch men dancing "sexy" is sooooo much MORE humiliating. I'm embarrassed for my entire gender. I don't get it. I can't even get through a preview of one of these movies. Please tell me there isn't a third one coming out.
I wouldn't doubt if they did make a 3rd movie, if the second brought in a lot tmoney they will. I don't get it. I know in the world we live in that I shouldn't be surprised, but so.e of the women I know who like these movies because of the men in them surprise me. I know they're not seeing them for the dialogue.

Thank you!! :)
I wasn't aware you even had one?? lol

What do you have done already?

This is my second tattoo.. My first is on my ankle, it can be hidden, but I'm taking the risk with this being on my wrist.

I'm so proud of myself right now lol ^_^

Mine's nothing fancy, just a fish symbol around my arm. I think I have one pic of it, which isn't even clear lol, but I'll set it as my profile pic for a bit if you want to see it lol. I was only 19 when I got it. My next one will probably be a little more detailed.

Awe! That's awesome!

At least you were young when you got yours... My first one was done 2 years ago.. I don't tolerate pain very well, but both my tats mean something deep to me.

I would love to see your tat btw... I bet it looks awesome too!

I went with my friend to get his and let's just say he doesn't tolerate it very well either(he got his in a similar location to yours). He nearly passed out a few times haha. But yeah, I put the pic up. I'd take a better one, but I'm too lazy to go get my phone atm lol.

So I just got home and found a Luna Moth on my house. I've never seen one, so I had no idea what it was... I thought a huge leaf was stuck to the house lol. I guess it's rare to see an adult Luna Moth because they only live for a week, and they supposedly only fly at night, so I'm really surprised that I saw this.

Three questions:

1. Why don't you take a couple ibuprophen before you get something like that done?

2. As skin cells are replaced, how does the ink remain? Even in the subcutaneous layer cells are replaced regularly.

3. What do you do when you get tired of looking at it? I can't think of anything I would want to see every day... even a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon would eventually get old.

1) don't be such a Debbie downer...

2) I've thought LOOONG and hard about tattoos and I know what I want and what means the most to me.

3) I ate before I went, that's what they are most concerned about.. If you don't eat like an hour before tattoo time... Or eat in 5 hours before... You may pass out. I did fine. But like I said. If it's NOT a fill in tattoo... I'm fine.

I don't know the science behind the skin cells being replaced.. Cause I'm not that smarts in science to know that. But the ink stays in your skin forever; that much I do know. My tattoos both mean the world to me, the first was in memory of my husbands mentor when he committed suicide.he was such a wonderful man.. Loved the lord with his whole heart, but he had demons in his head he couldn't ignore... And that's what took his life.

The new one... To remind myself daily how truly GOOD God is... It's to remind me to always keep my faith in HIM and know he's always with me no matter what I face.

I've lived a pretty rough life... I've dealt with more pain than I could ever imagine anyone my age going through. So getting the tats remind me that the pain I go through, is all in gods plans. (Sorry if I sound churchy) but it's true. I want to see my faith every single day of my life.. and I'll neve grow tired of that.
