I once saw someone play the bass Claranet. Amazing i didn't even know it was a Clarenet at
first didn't know what it was. It was like a long metal twisty piece of metal that touched the floor,
think long trombone but without the large hooter at the end.

(Absolutely zero musical talent here. I can't even play the kazoo well. lol)

I do tend to pick up instruments fairly quickly,

All you have to do is stick it between your lips and hum. Can't do it. I mean, I can. But nothing recognizable, because I'm tone deaf, so everything I sing has two notes. You know them. They're the two notes used for the foghorn. But, I can't hit them exactly right either... I think.
