Sure, if a person is fully led by the Ruach HaKodesh, no stone tablets would be needed.

how many North American "believers" are operating daily being FULLY led by the Spirit in all things.
my guess - 0.
It's a good thing we have God and His grace and not your guess.

Perhaps it would be better to ask, are YOU lead by the Holy Spirit?

God doesn't ask me to guess about how everyone else is,doing. He tells me to follow Him.

I thank God when I encounter a fellow brother or sister to walk along side briefly in this life. For its better for two to walk and work together than one because of one falls the other is there to help them up. (not pick up rocks and place more burdens upon them so they both can show how "strong" they are.)

Jesus says His burden is light and promises to give us rest. Of we are weary and have no energy, then that is our body telling us we are doing something wrong.

Are we getting enough rest, water and food? Not just physical but spiritual?

Are we carrying burdens that aren't from God?

Everyone must answer that individually.

First off, it would serve us all well when we see a phrase in the New Testament, to research if it is a quote from the Old Testament, and then develop the context.

Who is picking up rocks?
I have no enemies here.
I am just saying, most American believers will tell you they are filled with the Spirit.
But then their life does not manifest this.
We want to call Him Lord, Lord, but then not do what He says to do.
It is kinda important.

I am not here to be popular and get "amens".

With godly wisdom from above or demonic earthly wisdom?
I would say Godly wisdom when God says plainly, These are MY feasts. (appointed times, holy days)

But no, we go after pagan Christmas and Easter and even throw our Halloween party and call it a "fall festival".

Why God no longer require His people to keep the feast.

Colossians: 2. 13. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17. Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19. And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. 20. Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21. (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22. Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23. Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

I did use the toilet paper and sink and soap and paper towels because they were placed there to use. Most Christians these days know many of the symbols and metaphors which show us Jesus Christ.

Many also believe that the tabernacle represented each of our bodies and that the arc of the covenant represented the throne of God which is now in our hearts.

Now when we seek God to know the law he has written in our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ, do we not recognize the same law which was placed in the arc?

That is how I understand it. If someone does not understand it that way, but they believe in Jesus Christ, I believe they fall into that category of saving grace where Jesus said, "Forgive them for they know not what they do."

God blesses us all in the name of Jesus Christ.

You said "I argue from New Covenant perspective"

I wonder, Do you believe that someone can understand the Old covenant from only reading the new testament?

Do you believe that someone can understand the new covenant from only reading the new testament?

I'm curious.
The Old Covenant was a shadow of Jesus Himself. Jesus Himself elevated the Law to show people that they need a Savior. You shall not murder - however "I" say that if you are angry with some one - you have murdered them.

The Old reveals Jesus. I read the Old Covenant to see Jesus in them - not for rules to keep. Christ is our life now in the New Covenant.

The Old Covenant now is obsolete and we have only the New Covenant - which is why it is called the "New"....and it is Jesus Himself!

You observe days and months and seasons and years!
I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain.

great passage. however, it is not referring to the holy appointed times of God. Not by a long shot. Try reading with context.

Those who are led by spirit of the Ruach HaKodesh, the traditions of Jewish fathers/ elders .Are most likely men that rise above the stone tablets, the written tradition of God as any kind of teaching, written or spoken, handed down from a generation of sinful men to the same kind of generation. But we are not to compare ourselves to ourselves rather than comparing the spiritual words of Christ to the spiritual that would not to be wise according to the wisdom of God.

The wisdom of this world, yes

Strong’s lexicon defines the Ruach HaKodesh traditions of men as of the body of precepts, especially fleshly ritual as shadows of things to come , which in the opinion of the later Jews were orally delivered by Moses and orally transmitted in unbroken succession to subsequent generations, which precepts, both illustrating and expanding the written law, as they did were to be obeyed with equal reverence.

That law of the Jewish fathers is like the Catholic law of the fathers #80 called apostolic tradition, is a succession of men who have a false zeal for God in respect to the flesh, as below . With that kind of tradition seeing it usurps the authority of our father in heaven by giving it to earthly fathers it in the end of the matter makes the word of God to no effect. seeing no man can serve two masters .the tradition of God as it is written inspired from h heaven and the traditions of men as they are oral inspired from earth.

The law of the Catholic fathers. One common source. . .
80 "Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture, then, are bound closely together, and communicate one with the other. For both of them, flowing out from the same divine well-spring, come together in some fashion to form one thing, and move towards the same goal."40 Each of them makes present and fruitful in the Church the mystery of Christ, who promised to remain with his own "always, to the close of the age".41
In Jeremiah we can see that kind of upside down faith coming from the mouth of men inspired from earth that they must place in other in men as to how that kind of faith works out.. And in both cases provide a “queen of heaven” as if there was, and they saw no evil in doing so. .

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. Jer 44:16

Re: Why God no longer require His people to keep the feast.

great passage. however, it is not referring to the holy appointed times of God. Not by a long shot. Try reading with context.
it clearly says holy day, new moon, and sabbath days. the Greek word there is specifically referring to the Jewish sabbath.

she even gave you the whole context -- which includes admonition that subjecting yourself to ordinances about diet and handling things is foolishness -- but you claim that Paul is actually saying exactly the opposite; that all gentile believers should be observing new moons, holy days, and sabbaths, and all the dietary restrictions and written ordinances about touching and handling things.
the ordinances and feasts of a people you are not of, and of a covenant that is annulled and that you were never invited by God to be a part of.

we know your argument well; it is 2,000 years old and specifically refuted multiple times in the scripture.
you've heard the refutation an hundred times -- you can't claim you are ignorant.

truly, Christ speaks the truth:

Why do you not understand what I say?
It is because you cannot bear to hear my word.

(John 8:43)

What I meant to say, Paul is not telling the believers to 'NOT' observe God's holy days.
Paul is telling them, Don't let your freak pagan neighbors judge you because you ARE observing God's commandments.
Go Paul!!

We recognize that the law written in our heart is more than outward observerances of the letter of the law, feasts and animal sacrifices. The inward law of the Spirit tells us God looks at people's heart and whether they seek to please Him or please the world and their own freshly desires.

God doesn't just look at action He looks at motive. It is not what is put into the mouth that defiles but what is spoken from the heart that reveals a proud and selfish heart.

At least you still consider people who disagree with you to have saving grace. Though I am not sure what you mean by using that phrase in such a manner.

I still think it's part of the New covenant NOT to be angry with someone without cause.

It is okay and not a sin to be angry with someone with just cause. However at the end of the day we should forgive another and give God the situation. Do not let the sun set on your anger or give place to the Devil.

I am unsure what your thoughts are concerning what Jesus taught ....do you think Jesus was just upping the bar to show people their son or do you think we should strive to live godly lives according to Christ teachings?

Just hoping you can clarify,

Not sure how you can get around these two verses.... As I said before if your faith is such that you need to observe the feast, then follow God but if a voice is telling to condemn others who do not keep the feasts..then that voice is NOT FROM GOD.

No it doesn't say that at all but you can twist it to fit if you like to believe a lie..

14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

The handwriting and ordinances are the Mosaic covenant laws...I know that the Hebrew roots teachers have brainwashed their followers into believing they are something else, but it doesn't fit and takes a lot of twisting and ignoring scriptures to no purpose to try and make people be enslaved by the Mosaic covenant instead of understanding how Jesus fulfilled the promise given to Abraham and Adam which predated the Mosaic laws.

Just hoping you can clarify,
I believe that Jesus upped the bar ( the Law ) so that self-righteous people would see their need for Him alone. They thought they were keeping the "commandments" of God but Jesus reveals the truth of what is actually behind the commandments. He fulfilled all the Law for us and now we are one with Him in our spirit joined to Him.

The true Christian life is not to be following teachings but to have the life of Christ manifested in our lives because we are new creations in Him. It is not more rules to follow - but simply a manifestation of His life in and through us which is His love being poured out of us to others. Rom. 5:5

There is a type of anger that is a work of the flesh. Gal. 5:20
