I just find it strange that so many atheists come to these forums and want us to ask them questions about atheism.
That indicates they are preaching atheism

Perhaps they feel they are misunderstood by christians just as many christians feel their beliefs are misunderstood by atheists. Could also just want to preach.

also having read it, i am of the opinion that strobel is not giving both side of the issue, not even close. he is an extremely bigotted close minded christian. he is not the best source to understand what atheists are saying. you cannot dismiss atheists based on a completely wrong idea of what they are saying. popeye's post for example is the most ignorant an ridiculous thing i have read all day, by far:

Atheism is a religion.

Your bible is Darwin's origin of species.
Your churches are the public schools where your priests teach from your bible
Your congregation is all america's children
Your blood sacrifice is the unborn innocent children
Your God is self worship/"science" ....even your science is faith science.(asking a human being to believe the impossible...evolution)

Your false prophets are the media and secular humanism?situational ethics teachers and professors.

His books are close to giving both sides than the one he gave to me.
I can also give some more books that I have (but haven't read yet) that I believe give both sides
 
Okay, if you don't like Lee Strobel,
I have a book called The Question of God and I'm pretty darn sure it represents both sides haha

And, in all fairness to Nate, he's not really claiming sinless perfection. He's playing a game. It's called "I'll do anything to get attention when I'm bored. I just am not able to entertain myself yet." He really does just post little ditties to get attention.
 
Gosh I wish I knew as much as this 16 year-old self-proclaimed Atheist. And I love the part about how he "used to be a Christian." When? During a couple of years, way back when, while he was watching cartoons and sucking on juice boxes.?

I've lived about four and a half of his lifetimes, yet I don't know a twentieth of the things he thinks he knows.

Kid, I hope you get a little smarter before you happen to run out of time on this planet. There's enough you haven't a clue about to construct a whole 'nother world.

Really? That's good to know. Because he's been doing the same thing for a few years now. I had to look at his age to see if he'd grown up.
 
My wife told me that she heard this when she was 20 in college.... "A young Atheist has to guard his faith very carefully."

Think about it a while, and it may soak in. LOL

Lee Strobel -- you might want to check who he is before adding your "bigoted" review of his effectiveness. You don't even know who "your side" is.

(We are supposed to use the word "bigoted" for anyone we disagree with, right?)
