I recently had a dream of a huge tornado approaching and i took shelter in a building. Everything around me was tore up but i was not injured. Shortly after i had a bad episode with my wife having another affair...

My dad dreamed oft Jesus grilling with him but never saw his face. He also dreamed oft being at a place were Jesus was preaching. He still never saw his face. My dad is also a Catholic if that has any thing to do with it

I would ask God for wisdom in interpreting your dream.
 
I dreamed of walking on the campus of my old high school and in the distance i saw a huge tornado approaching in the clouds. I remember running into a entry door to a stairway in a brick building and wrapping my arms around the stairway railing as the tornado approached i could hear thr roar and see parts of the building breaking off including the door flying off. I can remember thinking this tornado is going to suck me out of the opening but i felt no wind or suction from the storm. Finally it passed and i stepped out thinking how greatful I was to survive.
 
I've had many dreams and visions my entire life even as a tiny child. God himself revealed what they all meant at the appointed times.

Sometimes God warns us of trials we will face in our lives so that we can remember even if destruction happens around us, He will keep us safe.

When I have a dream that troubles me, I spend time in prayer and reading my Bible.

You could do a study on tornados. God sometimes appears in the Old testament as a tornadoes.

Your dream reminds me of something that would inspire a psalm about how God protects us.
