That at is really sad. Sounds like April is a very understanding person and Madison will have a good friend if they work it out.
Yes, I think Madeleine understands what she was doing was wrong now and won't do it again. She was really sorry. Oh and I mixed up their ages in my post... the 13 yr old was the victim and the 12 yr old was the bully. Can you imagine the poor girl lost her mom and she's only 12? :(

You just told Melita that she could only have one cookie?

No worries my good man. Melita has had her Mexican card confiscated. She can no longer go into tirades of Spanish where she snaps her fingers and reads peoples' pedigrees.

I can't imagine. A friend of ours (Dave and me) wife died from cancer when they're son was 3. He really didn't understand, I don't many 3 year olds that would. After a few months we we're hanging out and he stuck to my side. He helped me in the kitchen and spent most of the day being my shadow. He missed his Mom. He has a wonderful Grandma and Aunt that have helped fill that role, but how confusing it must have been for him.

This made me cry. It's so sad. That poor little boy. Lord, please help them through this ordeal.

This is nowhere near as serious, but... talking about kids and life upheavals, I just came home with two little kittens. A boy and a girl. The boy's name is Ethan, I'm fairly certain. The girl hasn't found her name yet, but it will come.

Circumstances decree they will be outside cats. I have the cats in a little pet tent on the carport with food, water, towels to lie on and of course a litter box. My australian shepherd is afraid of them, but then he's afraid of anything and everything new. The girl cat just sits there watching everything. Ethan is evidently adapting fast - he already ate like a horse... a small horse, but he ate like a horse... and is now sitting there washing his face with his paw.

I'm gonna go out and sit with the kittens on my lap for a while. Maybe the girl cat will find her name.

We need pics! Are they brother and sister? Will you get them neutered/spayed?

Do some of you guys keep up with everything that is posted on this thread? I, literally, miss 80% of it. I don't want to but I just can't keep up. Just curious. I bet I've missed great conversation and a lot of laughs. Gotta go...daughter has her first bible quizzing practice of the year. We can't be late. She's WAY too excited. :)

I not only miss 80% of what's posted here, but the majority of what's going on in the world around me. I can't keep up with much anymore. The world is a blur most days. Thank God the Lord goes before me and makes a way.

Good luck to your daughter with the Bible quiz! :D

Definitely getting them fixed, but not until they are older. I thought they would be a bit older than they are. I may have to keep them in this tent while I'm gone for a couple or three weeks instead of three or four days. And yes they are bro and sis.

Their mother looks downright emaciated. I'm betting she was glad to see two of the six kittens leave. One mother nursing six kittens is pulling her way down. They are old enough to eat dry cat food though, so the mom should be back to normal soon. But really, she was just a bag of bones!

The reason the wind blows so frequently and with such vigor in Wyoming is because Nebraska sucks.
