So life events just randomly happen for no apparent reason? If that's true, then Jesus died for absolutely no reason at all. Heck, we don't need him to save us if things just randomly happen for no reason at all. He could've stayed in heaven. What a waste of an innocent life. Things happen randomly for no reason, who'da thunk it? :/
He created Lucifer, he allowed him to rebel against Him, so yes, God caused that sin to happen. Absolutely. God CREATED sin, what part of that isn't sinking into your brain yet? He created it, he caused it and he allows it to occur.
God isn't up there causing all of these horrible things to happen. Evil things are sinful things. You can't bring yourself to say God doesn't cause sin because you know that's not true. So since God doesn't cause sin, He doesn't cause evil. So if something happened, big or small, that doesn't automatically mean "Okay God MUST have caused this". That takes free will completely out of the discussion. A person has free will if he or she wants to do something with evil intentions. A person has the free will to choose what route to go on his or her way to work. From big to small, bad to good, free will plays a part. God can use anything for His purpose. He can bring anyone out of a situation. But if He causes every single thing, big and small, here on Earth, then we essentially have no free will.
Does God cause a human to sin? You're using words that are different from the word "cause". Who's to blame for sin?

God does not cause sin,which the Bible says that God cannot be tempted with evil,neither does He tempt any person to sin.
If God causes evil then He would not be offended when people sin.
Evil is a result of angels,and people's choice,to do so,because God's kingdom is love,so God gave the angels,and people,a choice to follow Him or not.
You can program your computer to say,I love you,but it does not,but has no choice to say that seeing no other alternative,so God gave angels,and people,a choice,for His kingdom is true love.
The Bible says Lucifer was made perfect in his ways,until iniquity was found in him,which he used his choice to rebel.
The Bible says God made man to be upright,but they sought out many inventions,which they used their choice to do wrong,although the wrong in the world can appear right to them,for there is a way that seems right unto a man,but the end thereof is death,if they are not in the reality of God and the Bible,to represent goodness,and to abstain from sin.
God does not cause sin,and God will allow things to happen that can come to the hurt of a person,because that person does not have the protection of God,for they choose to do contrary to God,and God gave us a choice,and He does not cause it,but will allow it to happen.
Some people think wars come from God,or fight for the kingdom of God by force,but God said all wars come from people,the lust of the flesh,and Jesus said do not fight for the kingdom of God by physical force.
God allows things to run their natural course,and will step in for good,and allow things to happen to the hurt of people because they do not follow Him,but it is their choice,and He does not cause it.
But God does work in the world more than what people think,and has His hand on them more than they think,especially those that do not know the truth in its entirety,but do not like the way the world operates,which He will work with them,and what about people that are not in the truth,but only believes in a God,but not necessarily the Bible,when someone prays for them,and God works with them to try to get them to the truth.
God visits everyone to think upon the truth,but what will they do with it,which the Bible says represent goodness,and show love towards people,so the world can observe it,then they will glorify God in the day of their visitation.
So we see why so many people do not glorify God in the day of their visitation,because of all the hypocrisy that is abroad,and God said give offense in nothing,that the ministry be not blamed,and at the end time will be many hypocrites,who are neither hot,or cold,but lukewarm,who say they are increased with goods,and have need of nothing,which God said He will spew them out of His mouth.
God does not cause sin,which God cannot be tempted with evil,neither does He tempt any man,but they sin when they are tempted by their own flesh,and for the most part allows things to run its natural course,and has given us a choice because His kingdom is true love,so sin happens because of their choices,which is rooted in selfishness,arrogance,and self exaltation,and not love that is the fulfilling of God's law,and God said evil men shall wax worse,and worse,and at the end time,since iniquity shall abound,the love of many will wax cold,so as time goes on,and they get more selfish,and arrogant,and self exalting,the more they will not like each other,which the more they exalt themselves,which the more they do not like each other,which the more they exalt themselves,which the more they do not like each other,and it keeps going round and round,and we know where it will end,the beast kingdom,where the world will rebel against God,and believe in no personal God.
But God does not cause sin,or bad things to happen to people,but God is going to allow all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom,and when they take the mark of the beast,which is a device put under the skin,for the identification of the person,one world economic system,people can be tracked on earth to cut down on crime,because if a crime happens they will know who was in the location at the time,and all who agree that there is no personal God to help them,but man's technology,and devices,can achieve peace on earth,it is over,and God will put them down,for the beast kingdom will separate all who love God,from all those who do not love God.
God will not cause the beast kingdom to happen,but He will allow it to happen,and the people that follow it,made the choice to follow it,because God has to eventually put an end to this sin business of people who rebel against Him,and cause those that love Him to shine,with no rebellion ever coming up again,but peace and harmony in a kingdom of love,where sin does not exist,and sin will never be,and rebellion will never rear its ugly head again,and all the wicked will be not be disturbing the peace anymore,by their self exalting ways to the hurt of other people.
IMO, God created sin. Obviously he knew that evil has a purpose in this world. If he DOESN'T cause sin, WHY did he CREATE it? Answer me that, smarty. If sin hadn't been created, it wouldn't exist, and if it didn't exist, we wouldn't sin. Don't blame satan for sin, because it's GOD that created it, and allowed it to infiltrate every corner of earth.
Sin entered because Eve ate the forbidden fruit and Adam didn't listen to God. If God is responsible for the sin and evil, then we aren't responsible for our actions. That shows a picture of a very angry and evil God, when that is not the case. How much longer are we going to continue? We have the free will to stop, or is God causing us not to? But if one of us stops, does that mean God caused one of us to stop? And if you're calling me "smarty" in a sarcastic tone, what does that make you? By saying things such as "are you blind" and "or can you not see that"? Did God cause you to become sarcastic?

I'm not being sarcastic. I'm simply assuming that you ARE a smart person. One who knows enough to realize that God created sin. That's a fact. God allows sin to happen. That's another fact. BUT, I'm assuming you cannot see those facts. Am I wrong?
That first sentence is false. Sin did NOT enter the garden because Eve ate the fruit. Sin was already IN the garden before she even ate the fruit. God allowed satan to enter the garden. Satan wouldn't have been in there otherwise. GOD LET SIN into the Garden of Eden. And if you don't like what I'm saying, then stop responding to me. You're not a child, jsr. You're smart enough to realize that God created sin, and allows it to happen.
I agree with everything exept that. God did not create sin. I will show you why.
Ezekiel 28:15
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
This means (in hebrew)just as much as ''until he became a rebel''. Satan took it on himself. God didnt create him evil. Angels have free will and Satan choose to become a rebel
I referred to Adam and Eve because that is where our lineage comes from. They were the first man and woman. Everything else stems after. God allows it, yes. Created it, no. Or else, we wouldn't be responsible for our own actions. We wouldn't have free will. You're smart enough to know free will does exist, Blue. And what you say doesn't bother me. But I'm not going to spend the entire day doing this. There are more constructive things to do.

Well, I disagree.
God created angels to be obedient and loyal, and sinless. There is a reason why he let Lucifer rebel in heaven, there's a reason why He kicked Lucifer out of heaven, AND there is a reason why Lucifer became satan and is allowed to spread his evil on this earth. Sin did NOT exist in heaven, or in this world, UNTIL God CREATED it.
Yes, it does. I never said free will doesn't exist. What I said was, that God created a perfect (at first) angel, who decided to rebel. And God had a reason for allowing him to rebel. He had a reason why he allowed satan to be the ruler of this earth. And he had a reason why he allowed sin to enter the Garden. You can't really blame Eve, SHE was led astray by satan, who was ALREADY in the garden before she came upon the tree.
You see a common theme going here? GOD HAS A REASON FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES. It's not my fault if people don't want to believe that.
Eve was led astray because Adam stayed silent rather than manning up and stopping Eve from disobeying God. You've implied free will doesn't exist because you've said God is behind every single thing, big and small, that happens. I can choose to get in the golf cart and drive straight into a tree. God didn't cause me to do that. It would be my own stupidity. Thankfully, I'm not that stupid. I've applied other situations which you could not dispute. I don't really need to continue because there's nothing left for me to continue. God didn't cause me to stop the conversation on my end. It's my free will.
I thought you said you had more productive things to go and do? Adam was deceived by satan, as much as Eve was. The serpent didn't speak to Adam, he spoke to Eve. Adam didn't realize that Eve had been suckered in by the serpent. Maybe if he had known that, he wouldn't have fallen for the scheme.
As far as driving the golf cart into a tree, that wouldn't necessarily be your own stupidity. It could be that either the brakes or the steering on the cart were bad, and you didn't realize it.. lol

Second part actually did make me smile and laugh.. We can agree to disagree. I think we can agree God allows stuff to happen and can make good out of anything.

Seems like their jsr/blue debate is on the meaning of cause/permit.
Like if God permits something, or had power to stop it, did He by non-action cause it? At least thats what I think they're arguing.
One says God caused this but not that, the other says God didn't stop it, so He caused it since He's ultimately in control.
So many of the deep debates people have can't really be answered either or, but both and.
But that's just my silly opinion, and I'm so often wrong, I'm surprised God allows me to speak.
Or does He cause me to?
Now He should cause me to shut up.
