Western Union?
Big surprise. Western Union still sends money. The only sensitive info you have to give out to strangers is where is your local Western Union. They serve a large area, so it might just be as simple as "in Colorado." The other thing needed is the answer to a question so WU knows that money really belongs to you. Personally, I usually tell people that the question is "What's her teddy bear's name?" That way I'm giving out the personal information, (he's Spaulding), not them. And then there is a ID number needed. So, you wouldn't be getting money straight to you from people you don't know in real life. You'd be going to your nearest Western Union location to pick up money. Start reading signs around you. Quite often Western Union locations are in convenience stores and check cashing places.
It's just something no one notices until they need one.
