Black Lives Do Matter.......

I just got this in an e-mail. It is your decision to determine if this is racist rant or just a review of factual data.

Black Lives Do Matter

WHAT IF ALL THE BLACKS SUDDENLY LEFT AMERICA,
WHICH IS13.3% OF THE TOTAL U.S.POPULATION:

Amount of people in poverty would drop - 34%,

The prison population would go down by -37%,

Welfare recipients would go down by - - - 42%,

Gang members would go down by - - - - - 53%

Chlamydia cases would go down - - - - - - 54%,

Homelessness would go down - - - - - - - -57%

Syphilis would go down - - - - - - - - - - - - 58%.

AIDS & HIV would go down by - - - - - - - -65%,

Gonorrhea would go down - - - - - - - - - - -69%,

Average ACT scores would go UP - - - - - - - - - - - 5.5 points.

Average IQ would go UP - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -7.4 points,
putting us 3rd in the world tied with Japan,

Average SAT scores would go UP almost - - - - -100 points,

The average income for Americans would go UP over$20,000 a year,

BUT

DEMOCRATS WOULD LOSE 76% OF THEIR VOTING BASE!!!

And, many criminal defense attorneys would have to find another line of work!

Yes, Black lives DO matter!
 
Help me understand why is it sooooooooooooo important on this site to repeatedly speak poorly of black people or to point out bad things about black people? Clearly the email was to take a stab at the Black lives Matter term. Factual or not I am personally getting tired of all the black people are low rants on this site and people looking down their noses at black people.

Yes there are black people using the Black Lives Matter term and doing horrible things but that does not mean that they actually belong to the group. Just like some are tired of hearing about Black Lives Matter I am tired of the rude comments and posts.

AND before someone attacks me for sticking up for BLM, I don't know what they are doing or not doing as I do not belong to the group, have not been to any rallies or protests. I do not condone violence or killings of innocent people no matter the race neither do I agree with the destroying of property to prove a point. Could it be that it is just a bunch of idiots who don't even belong to the group that are acting a fool who yell black lives matter.

Honestly Willie, that email is pretty racist. I'm not thrilled with everything I've seen from BLM, but lumping a whole race of people into one group like that isn't right. I know you didn't write the email, this is just my opinion.
 
A disgusting guise of presenting statistics to infer that the US would be better off without black people.
 
Racist? I guess it's sort of racist. But considering all the crap that's put out about how black people are supposedly all victims and how bad the white Americans are to them, I think it only levels the balance slightly. So am I bothered? Not really. Facts are facts, and while I dont know if the email is 100% accurate, it does have some ground to it. I don't hate black people, but I sure as heck wish that majority of them would get off their lazy butts and join the working class.
 
I happen to know quite a few black that work pretty darn hard. I know the racial divide and I've heard black people say some ignorant things about white people. Am I a fan of Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton?, heck no, because I think they've made the racial divide deeper in this country. But this kind of stuff bothers me. It bothers me when black folks do it to. But two wrongs don't make a right and I'm not going to add to the hate for each other in this country by saying, oh this is okay because black people do this. No, it's not right either race.

This email MIGHT be relevant (and I say MIGHT be) IF it ALSO showed the results if WHITE people were to suddenly leave America......yes, it is racist simply because it does not include the statistics based on OTHER races.

Ok I am done, this isn't the site for me. Not hanging around for the "Blacks are what's wrong with America" thing. I've tried but it's always the same thing over and over. Enough is enough.
 
Not everyone here hates black people.........you can not judge the entire Membership here by a few comments on this thread. That would be as wrong as people judging all blacks based on that email right?
 
Things like these statistics make me want to punch a wall and then hug my friends who are black, because I know these statistics do not represent them.

It would be like lumping me in with all stereotypes and statistics about Asians, and I'm always fighting that kind of ignorance tooth and nail.

I also feel for my white friends as well. I have a black friend who used to fight with me often about "white privilege" and how supposedly terrible white people are-- until they found out that their great great great grandmother was white, and that someone very close in their family secretly had a child with a white partner.

Racism sucks for everyone, all the way around.

Who said blacks are what's wrong with America? I think this was just a discussion about our view on their part of the problem, which is only one part out of many part that make the whole. Personally, I don't understand this whole "racist" stuff. It's a load of crap, if you ask me, just a stupid excuse to talk bad about people and create problems.
 
You got that right Seoul search. Racism is taught you aren't born with it. I mean that for all races.

Not judging the entire membership sir. Just getting tired of the nasty comments that keep coming up thread after thread. Can't have a decent thread here before it turns political or the blacks are insert coment here. Like we are the lowest of Gods creation.

This is actually the only thread I've noticed since I joined that had anything to do with blacks... Of course maybe that's just because I pay more attention to other subjects.

We've talked on the subject of race and you know where i stand. But it's pretty hard to dismiss all of these events as being random people just yelling BLM with no connection whatsoever.
And if that were the case then why has BLM not gone out of their way to distance themselves from these claims and these people? Instead they continually allow people to do violence in the name of their group.
Granted there have been some BLM chapters that have chosen peaceful approaches and even met with police in a positive manner. But with various leaders having been arrested over the actions they've encouraged the group to do, it's still hard to deny they are just a violent racist movement for the most part.
Though i do wonder how many leaders of this group are worried about race, and not just using race as an excuse to push for violence.

I wasn't defending BLM Ugly. You know i'll be happy to talk to you but I won't do it here, pm me if you'd like. I think it's time for me to take leave of this thread.
