Warsh has always been "Warsh".
Haha, my dad would say warsh. Warshington LOL. He said a few others words like roof he would say ruff, and toilet was terlet. Not always, but enough to notice. And crick for creekI think most of Pennsylvania has normal boring dialect. They do spell Diner, Dinor, I don't know why, some people say soda and some say pop. I say soda. In the Pittsburgh area they have a language all of there own and they do have a mix of a southern northern accent, I don't know how to describe it. Rubber bands are gum bands, wash is warsh. You or you all is Yinz.
What Yinz doin tonight going dahntawn to watch the Stillers play football?
I've sometimes wished that I had that peace of mind that must come with being ignorant.
Jenny... there was a guy that did commercials in Lubbock several years back, and he would talk about his heating and air conditioning bidness....
Caused many a face palm and head shaking....
Well I just learned today that you do not pronounce the I in some middle eastern languages, so Iran (for instance) is pronounced E-ran. My mother used to complain even when we were kids, we would ask, whose turn is it to wape the dishes? She wanted to know where we got that word from LOLOLOL. Wape. We didn't give it up though. We waped dishes.I know people who say malk for milk. I think when did milk suddenly get spelled with an a? I also worked with someone who pronounced the word Italian Eyetalian. A guy we worked with asked her if she was from Eyetaly?, lol

Not judging the entire membership sir. Just getting tired of the nasty comments that keep coming up thread after thread. Can't have a decent thread here before it turns political or the blacks are insert coment here. Like we are the lowest of Gods creation.
Assuming these are facts... I don't care enough to look tbh... can facts be racist? The tone of the email might be racist, the reason they're being used could be racist idk... But, facts are facts and stats are stats whether we like what they present to us or not.
I don't think it's racist to only put forth the data on one race. But I do think it would be interesting to see the data on others for comparison.
If we treated each other they way we are supposed to... my goodness,My immediate family consists of White, Black, Hispanic & Asian. I am with you HoneyDew regarding the nasty comments toward the Black race. I'm sick of it!!!!! It's totally anti-Christian as Jesus tells us we are not to acknowledge one another by the outward man, but by His Spirit in us.
It might be more like, Ear-ran. But yeah, no "I" soundI didn't know that they pronounced it E Ran. I work at a laundromat Friday nights and I have a couple college kids that are from Iran that I talk to all the time. I'm surprised they have never corrected me.
