Here is the thing though:

1.) In my first post in the thread I stated my opinion that I do not believe Trump is a racist. In fact, check the immigration thread when I said that if I was a Hispanic woman, I would agree entirely with Trump's plan and I explained why.

2.) A racist (Jesse Jackson) who cozies up to Trump back in 1998 does absolutely nothing to signify Trump isn't a racist or that he doesn't hate minorities. This doesn't mean that Trump is or isn't a racist. Endorsements can be meaningless depending on the source.

I would also add that while he may not be racist, he's definitely shown the spirit of misogyny from his quotes. *waits for Trump supporters to say the quotes were taken out of context*

He talks to girls like they are men...I thought that's what you guys wanted?
Equality is fine until they get there feelings hurt and then its the ole "I'm a girl" card :(

Do you sincerely think women wanted people, Trump in this case, to make misogynistic comments?

You say "he talks to girls like they are men"... Trump is a "great Christian" man who is running for the most powerful position in the world... is this how you expect him to talk to "men" too? Would it be okay for anyone to talk to a man this way? What does the bible say about treating other people? Do we condemn them in an ungodly way or correct them where they are spiritually wrong?

I wouldn't even talk this way to my dog... much less a man/woman. Furthermore, he has made misogynistic comments about women in general, not just personal attacks to specific individuals he was feuding with. He's reduced the importance of women based on superficial looks. He's said he would provide the funds for his children, but it's the mother that is suppose to "take care" of them. This is completely anti-biblical. If you want to call it "equality"... by all means.

It just saddens me to see someone lump his behavior with trying to be "equal" to women.

Well I don't know what your talking about ? When women get into the political arena and start throwing punches ...the "I'm a girl" card, don't work . They always talk about how they want to be treated equal to the guys .. trump treats them like one of the guys ...and I did not call Trump a "great" Christian ..why are you twisting my words?

He was asked if he would denounce the endorsement of white supremacist groups and he dodged the question. This may not be irrefutable evidence that he is racist however it is evidence of his Shady character being that he knows a large percentage of his voters are white supremacist

This whole discussion is absurd ..Trump hired and paid women according to their merit, before it was PC ...while Bill was raping and molesting and Hillary was paying them a percentage of the guys ...

Except he has made misogynistic statements before he was a politician. You're still using the "equality" reasoning for why Trump says misogynistic things. It's as if you believe it's impossible to fight for equality and be respectful to men/women at the same time.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Trump is necessarily misogynistic. I think one could make a more than compelling case that he is from some of the statements he's made however.

It's sort of like how everyone has lied but we aren't all [perpetual] liars. I don't know Trump's heart. He may be racist/misogynistic but I don't feel comfortable enough to make a claim. I can only confirm/deny if he has made statements that are racist/misogynistic in nature.

I disagree ..you like others take statements Trump made about people outside the of who said what to whom and who the person is...just like the Mexican judge being a member of a racist Mexican group ...trump could have been smarter about how he raised the issue but the judge is clearly part of a racist group and should not be judging his case.
