John 5:24 . . Amen, amen, I say to you: whoever hears my word, and
believes in the one who sent me, has eternal life and will not come to
condemnation, but has passed from death to life.

Heb 11:6 . .Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for anyone who
approaches God must believe that He exists

According to Teresa's private letters; written to spiritual counselors during
her five decades in India, she was never really sure there's a God out there.

Teresa's deplorable spiritual condition is shocking, and very difficult to
believe, but it's a matter of public record now in a book called:

Mother Teresa / Come Be My Light
The Private Writings of the "Saint of Calcutta"

Edited with commentary by Brian Kolodiejchuk, M.C.
ISBN 978-0-385-52037-9

Father Kolodiejchuk is not one of Teresa's enemies. When the book was
published, he was director of the Mother Teresa Center and a postulator for
her sainthood.

In practice Teresa was an agnostic; which can be defined as a person who
does not have a definite belief about whether God exists or not.

Well; according to John 5:24 and Heb 11:6, agnostics should prepare
themselves for the worst when they cross over to the other side. I've no
doubt Rome's theologians know this but went ahead and canonized
her anyway.

Umm...she's dead? Seems like the only answer to her status we can be sure of. All else is speculation.

Do you not think in the position that Mother Teresa was in that she'd question humanity and God sometimes? It irritates me greatly when someone takes private letters of a dead person and publishes them. This person is no longer here to defend themselves.

Mother Teresa was a person a real person with thoughts, feelings and doubts. I had read stories about her good and bad and I knew of her charities. Other than that I don't know much about her. From what I understand she didn't live a lavish lifestyle. She owes me no explanation of her thoughts that she wrote to a friend.

I have never lived or seen the extreme poverty that she did. In America living in poverty generally isn't the same as it would be in a third world country. I have never had to walk miles to get a bucket of water to survive. I have never been in a hospital where treatment wasn't a guarantee because they might now have enough penicillin to go around. She saw some horrible scenarios. If she had her doubts sometimes I don't blame her.

Right now I'd like to take Willie's boot and use it. She's dead, just like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, JFK and Princess Diana. Don't pretend you know something about someone because of the tabloid trash you buy off a book stand.

If she had her doubts sometimes
Teresa's doubt in the existence of God spanned non-stop for virtually five decades.

Father Kolodiejchuck's book is not tabloid trash. He published it with Church approval,
and it's validated with an imprimi potest and an imprimitur.

Violent people are not allowed to identify themselves with God.

Really kinda of a sick hobby.
What is the purpose in repeating this same thread?
Good question! (And you are welcome, Ed :))

It does not matter if Mother Teresa had her doubts. What matters is Mother Teresa did Worship Mary as her lord and savior. Mary was her God, just as Mary is the God of all the Catholics.

Can a person serve two Gods? NO! we cannot say we follow Jesus as our Lord and Savior AND at the same time Worship Mary as our God.

God has said we cannot serve two Masters.

Mother Teresa is dead in the Grave. She will face Jesus and she will be judged. Unfortunately she will spend Eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Such a waste of life. She should have chosen to follow Jesus instead of Mary. Such a waste.

why are you against Mike Henderson PennEd?

We must give mike some room when he rants and raves against the Catholics, for he was molested by a Catholic Priest for years when he was a child. I feel so sorry for mike.

We all need to be there to support him.

You didn't. Not at all. Folks are just reading into your previous post what they want to see. Pay it no mind.

That says it all! Actually that is all we can say about any deceased person. From a human viewpoint I think she was a very good person who touched the lives of many for the better. She left the world in a better state than when she entered it and was an example to us all.
