Ye must be born again
not to change the thread subject but,

when a christian is begotten by the holy spirit and then starts to grow,
now we become [an heir to the kingdom], waiting for our change.

the phrase born again at conversion is [false], another man made idea

It should refere to being [begotten], or an heir and not yet inheriated.
Just like a fetius can be aborted, so can a persons walk be aborted.

those having the indwelling of the Holy spirit as a down payment,
when our change into A [spirit being], at Christs sec. comming.

Then we will be born again, and see Gods Kingdom.

-

this is where a study and a good understanding about God Holy Convocations helps

Nah. No one can even see the kingdom of GOD unless they are born again

Flesh gives birth to flesh

Are you letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing and are you after being born of his spirit relying on your fleshly works?

But that also is another subject because too many are offended by works and you wil take my response as some sort of idea that I believe that GRACE is somehow a license to sin BRCAUSE I WOMT exalt any work(s) but YHE CROSS

Jesus, questioned in the house of Caiaphas:

"Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

Good stuff...I am a new creature in Christ. My inner being has been changed and redeemed. The Holy Spirit is my seal that one day my body will be changed to match my redeemed soul. Praise the Lord! I can't wait for that!

Whenever the three days and three nights of Matthew 12:40 is brought up in a "discussion" with 6th day crucifixion folks, they frequently argue that it is a Jewish idiom for counting any part of a day as a whole day. I wonder if anyone has documentation that shows that the phrase "x" days and "x"nights was ever used in the first century or before when it didn’t include at least parts of the "x" days and at least parts of the "x" nights?
Humans don't have the capability to keep documents lasting long, especially before the invention of paper.

Christians failed to keep their documents as Roman wide persecution occurred including the burning of the Christian documents.

The Jews failed to keep their documents due to the AD 70 siege and being driven out of Palestine. They kept the Bible well though as each Jews would bring at least one copy with him.

.
Many ancient cultures in the Middle East used cuneiform

Behistun Inscription been around longer then paper:rolleyes:

The inscription dates back to 516 b.c. and is an account of Darius i’s assumption of the
Persian throne (521-486 b.c.). This account was written in cuneiform in three languages
(Babylonian, Elamite and Old Persian).

It was crucial to the decipherment of cuneiform script. The discovery opened the door
for archaeology to further confirm the Bible’s historical accuracy.

-

The invention of paper

Paper was invented in ancient China during the Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD)
and spread slowly to the west via the Silk Road.

We are talking about a book in its whole, not discrete parchments!

Can you present a book of more than 500 pages written before the invention of paper but preserved till today!

...and there is no shortage of cuneiform tablets recovered from Babylon and its satellite cities. We know more detail about 6th cent. (BC) Babylon than we do about any other city's mundane affairs until Rome. And what we have found to-date supports the biblical record. It's exciting stuff.

The information is usually not presented correctly. Under most circumstance when we say that we discovered tablets or scrolls, we are talking about the discrete records instead of a full book. However, some readers will take it as if it's talking about we have found a 500 page books in the form of stones or parchments.

One interesting thing we found was the 11th Tablet of the Gilgamesh Epic, and it appears to have been cribbed by certain scribes during the Babylonian Vacation to create Genesis 7-9.

I want to make sure I understand what you're saying Talishi so I must ask - are you saying parts of the Bible were cribbed from other sources?

There are similarities between the Torah, which many scholars believe reached final form in the 5th Century BC under Ezra, and the cuniform of the Gilgamesh story, which is known to be of greater antiquity. I have to tread lightly here, this sort of discussion might not be suited for this forum.

I agree with your last thought. Makes me wonder why you're participating in the forum. I mean, if you don't believe the Bible is what it is to Christians, why bother?

That was a rhetorical question, btw. No need for a lengthy debate on which is more ancient - the Bible or the story of Gilgamesh.

Perhaps I am a fire spirit sent to point out those human traditions which do not have a firm basis in the Sacred Scriptures.

Perhaps, but why would you care in the first place what Christians were doing?

Yeah, usually setting yourself apart as having a better understanding of the bible, and that it is your God appointed mission to correct everyone else is not going to get many people to listen to you. In that one sentence you have single-handedly closed most everyones ears to even considering anything you say. Not to mention referring to yourself as a 'fire spirit' sounds pretty weird.

Here to learn. Let me post something brief from my circles, written by the Old Fellow:

Taoteching 71

Presuming to know is a disease.
First realize that you are sick;
then you can move toward health.

The chances are;
1) they copied from each other
2) they are all descendants of Noah

You need faith to believe either.
