20 Things to make your husbad feel special

01 - Don't interrupt or correct him when he is telling a story.

02 - Compliment him in front of the children, your parents, his parents & friends.

03 - Be a concerned about your looks as you were when you were dating.

04 - Let him hve sometime to relax when he arrives home from work.

05 - Develop a genuine intrest in his work & hobbies



06 - Admire him for his strength & significance.

07 - If he wants to take a lunch to work, pack it for him.

08 - Try to come home & off the phone when he gets home from work & up in the morning when he
leaves.

09 - Help your kids be excited about Dad coming home.

10 - Buy him some new socks & underwear on ordinary days instead of given them as gifts on hoildays or birthdays.



11 - Keep your bedroom tastefully decorated & clutter free.

12 - Understand when he wants to spend time enjoying sports or hobbies with his friends.

13 - Keep his favorite snack on hand.

14 - Stick to your budget.

15 - Watch his favorite sports events with him.



16 - Try to go to bed at the same time he does, and understand if he falls asleep in the recliner after a hard day.

17 - Trade babysitting with friends so you have some nights at home alone.

18 - Keep lovemaking fresh & exciting & remember that he probably has more frequent desires than you have.

19 - Bake some homemade cookies for him to take to work.

20 - As yourself one question every day: " What's it like being married to me ?"

At least once a week cook a meal that you absolutely KNOW he really likes. And don't complain about the calories or fat. You can diet all the other meals.

Sooo true. Love the list. I love to spoil my husband. I slip little love notes in his lunch, or leave them on his pillow. I like to massage his back or feet after a long day. When he's in the shower, I go in and scrub his back. He's my best friend and I just can't do enough for him. He does the same for me. He's always surprising me with little things. It's all the little things that matter most. My husband says that romance doesn't end at the alter, it begins there. We've been married for 12 years, and I wish we had more than a lifetime together.

I just seen this and read it with interest.

But from a my point of view, I am glad I am single. To think any lady was HAVING to do any of that for me makes me wonder what I would have to do in return.

I don't HAVE to do any of it. I want to because I love my husband. I like to make him smile. I don't do these things because I expect anything in return. My reward is his smile.

I have read a few of these in some books i have read about marriage and etc, They are all very good things to do. It is even nice to do some of the ones you can do to a guy you care about very much and are in a serious long term relatonship in, I try to do nice things for my fiancee all the time, because he does things for me all the time too

I read this with great interest, and thank God, my wife does her best to do most of these things. I read the gentleman's quote about "having" to do stuff for his wife. If we, as Christian men, love our wives as were commanded, like Christ loves the Church, we will not "have" to do anything, but will be thrilled to be allowed to do what we can for our wives. If we look at it that way, doing the dishes or laundry while she is at work won't become a chore, it will become a service to a very deserving lady. Just a thought.

not trying to be mean but why do we spoil our husbands? i do not know many men who would do the same for women. Its a vey nice list i will say. It goes both ways to make t work and for both people to be happy. Again not to be mean or malcious just commenting.

I think its interesting in this day and age the high rate of divorce. Everyone is so focused on themselves, their pride and what "they" can GET instead of what they can give in the relationship. It is only when I started to give fully of myself to my relationship with husband and trying to bless him that I was able to fully receive. We've been together 19 years and I must say I love him more now than ever. I really loved the part about reflecting on what it is like to be married to "me". (lots of days I pitty him!!) My husband loves and respects me and this makes it easy for me to try to be a wife of nobel charactor... so i cant speak for others I just think that we shouldn't totally get rid of the "old" ways of being a wife and blessing our husbands. Now i'm going to go & rub his back he broke to build up our home & feed our boys. :-D & thank you for this!

I look forward to doing those things for my husband when I get married. It's gonna take a special man to be married to me, cus I can be hard to live with sometimes. Start praying for him now! lol

I can already tell you have er beat! knowing you are hard to live with is 1/2 the battle LOL!!! I have an "i'm sorry in advance" t shirt I wear 3 days of the month...
