Here's some verses, adulterers God will judge, when you meddle in someone else's affairs, it's like grabbing the dog by the ears. Proverbs says that the seductress' way ends up in hell. Read prov 5,6,7.. have you and he discussed these scriptures yet?

I'm thinking, if we invested the time that we spend in our social/emotional affairs, into our marriage, would we end up with something new and exciting right where we're at?

No kidding! Its especially bad when the gossip is in your extended family and you don't even need to have confided anything to them. (that goes also for parents exposing their kids' privacy).

(of course I'm only bringing this up as a hypothetical ....maybe)

Ahhh family.... the bible says that a brother is born for adversity, and yah some really do bring it!

If you meet a man who you would like to marry but is already married, this is called coveting your neibors husband and Matt. 5:27 calls this adultery of your heart. If he is a godly man he will stay married to his wife as long as she remains faithful and wants to live with him 1 Cor. 7:12-13. What you are doing is sin and keeping his lustful eyes on you. Walk away, matter of fact, dont walk but RUN!
