If you belong to one of those churches that is so politically correct that they give their blessing to homosexuality and same-sex marriage, ask you church to choose a culture of integrity, where everyone can hold their heads high, rather than a culture of permissiveness. Maybe they will listen.

If "you" (generic you) BELONG to such a Church.......you got more problems than just the "integrity" of the Church!

"You" got problems............(again, generic you)

No church is perfect. Some people believe in being loyal to their churches and trying improve them.

The way I look at it is this: I could care less what the governing body in Sacramento thinks or does. All I care about is what my local church does, and I try to set a worthy example. I would change the governing body if I could, but they just ignore my letters and emails.

I love my church dearly. When a pastor comes in with his own agenda and starts leading the church astray, am I supposed to turn my back on the church? I won't do that.

You can give it a go.. Maybe some individuals will be convicted.. But then you should make a bee line for the exit and RUN and never look back... We don't want to be turned into a pillar of salt now do we :) ...

It's good to Love others... And try to warn them.. But in the end we got to Love Jesus more then anyone else.. We have to be prepared to leave our family, culture, nation, home for our faith in Jesus.. We have to be prepared to stand alone like Noah did because in the end times it shall be like the days of Noah..

There is a huge difference between a Church having some problems and the Church you described in the OP. How does one "improve" on a body of people who call themselves a Church who are anything but?

God's Church is not found in the description of the church you gave in the OP. But, now, that's just me, so.........

Again, this statement does not reflect what you described in the OP. In this instance, I would grab that Pastor by the scruff of his/her neck, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CONGREGATION, and SHOW him/her THE DOOR!

Again, though, that's just me, so............

Lest you think I'm just blowing smoke.......I'm not......I assure you, I have no problem confronting a Pastor, Elder, whoever, when they are preaching/teaching the Congregation something that is in direct conflict with the Gospel of Christ.

Have personal church (fellowship with God daily) and you won't depend on the church(body) to tell you what's right or wrong....most churches are lukewarm at best these days....got to keep your own personal fire burning in these damp/lukewarm times...

God never called us to be loyal to a false church! Your church is going against scripture. You are most likely in a 501c3 church. Do you have any idea how many "friendly notices" your pastor receives from the government on a monthly basis? The heat is getting turned up on all steeples who went against God and foolishly healed to the government ploy of the 501c3. Lyndon Johnsons sinister plan put into works is coming to fruition! Lyndon Johnson masterminded the 501c3 gag on the political speech of churches. Clergy of all stripes bought his scam hook line and sinker.
If you were to do anything productive; beckon your church to get out of a tax exempt status . That has to happen or anything else you try will be in vain! I dont know if you are aware of the strong arming going on with those under the 501c3. Your pastor made his bed and the friendly agenda towards the abominable homo lifestyle is only the tip of the iceberg.

Your letters will fall on deaf ears if you do not change your strategy

I agree with you and I also think God gave us guidelines as to how to handle this kind of thing. Now its time to take a few more men and confront him. If that doesnt work then he must be confronted in front of the whole church congregation. If that doesnt happen he has to go or the church goes elsewhere.

The thing is,under the 501c3, the church has formed a corporation(against Gods instructions) and rules set forth by the government as to how the corporation is run!! The way God wants his church run has been abolished long ago and the corporation took over with a board of directors.

When a pastor is assigned to a church you've belonged to all your life, and the pastor has his own agenda, you can either hang around and fight, or you can walk away. I love my church and I prefer to fight.

If you love your church, you fight for it. You don't walk away and let the bad guys take over.

It's all about loyalty. You belong to a church for many years and then you get a bad pastor. You can either stand up to him or you can walk away. I prefer to stand up to him.

Yes, we want to walk with the Lord, but my church provides valuable fellowship. I think the Lord planned it that way.

There are no perfect churches. When you belong to a church for many years, and you get a bad pastor, you stick around and fight.

Your fight is in vain when the steeple is under the umbrella of the government. It would be better to gather the church and go elsewhere like home churches. That way you are free to worship with God at the helm and not the government.
