Does "Easy Believism" overcome the world?

1 John4:4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.

What you will find is this side step.

We have overcome the world by being in the world still sinning yet in Gods eyes
redeemed.

Now to me this theology is just deceived double speak.

It is like taking every verse that applies to victory or not being defeated and saying
though one is defeated because Christ was not, we are not.

This is where reality and just words part company.
I just do not understand people who can claim so much yet be defeated so simply.

They have done wrong

I know it, You know it, Most of the room knows it.

But they will not admit it, So all we can do is expose it, then walk away.. Some people can not be helped apart from prayer..

You just left yourself open for this one...

If you emphasize such a works-based righteousness for salvation, to be under the law or to sanctify one's self through obedience to it, you may wish to read Galatians 3:3. If you tell people to do such, indeed, you are cursing them ironically enough.

Ok, I will give you a chance to show me where I have ever said that we are saved by our own righteous works of the law. Waiting......

Kinda funny in a weird sort of way. :)

Thats why you were laughing

I was laughing at the ridiculousness of the accusation. :)

You were laughing at the accusation while repeating what it was you were being accused of and someone even jumps on that and drags you through the mud all over again

Reminds me of this

You must've missed the IF (made it larger so you can see it). I was simply making a point, not an accusation.

Does morality work in all situations?

To my mind the whole point about morality is it works in all situations, or it is
just situational ethics.

Jesus called us to a morality that works no matter where we are, with reference
to God and the truth. He opposed those who compromised with sin because they
were the chosen, but rather you had to have a clean heart and walk in reality.

In an odd way, by making the pharisees ones enemies, yet doing exactly the same
thing does not free people from the same judgement of deceit and failure.

Now it is fine if people honestly fail and know why, and work it through, but to ignore
it and say any attempt to deal with sin is self DIY salvation is just insane.
If I get angry at someone it is ok to murder them because Jesus let it happen.
If I dealt with the anger, confessed it, let the Lords love flow, that is self sorting things
out so is evil.

Now the pharisees used the same approach because they never dealt with the
heart. Now we know who deals with the heart, because it is all those who agree with
my proposition, and those who have not and cannot oppose it, and stand condemned
by the Lord whatever their claim in their faith.

Which is firstly preceeded by (as if)

You just left yourself open for this one...

Galatians 3:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

works-based righteousness for salvation, to be under the law or to sanctify one's self through obedience to it, you may wish to read Galatians 3:3. If you tell people to do such, indeed, you are cursing them ironically enough.

Yes, in past discussions he has stated that a Christian sinning is no Christian at all (my summation). Just today he made this statement.

The issue here is not about being born again, but those who only "imagine" themselves as being born again. With no spiritual rebirth, there is no true conversion, no overcoming sin, the Devil, or the ways of the world, no purging process of bringing ones thoughts into the obedience of Christ. If one is still sinning then according to the words of God, they are not truly born of God. Pretty simple test to prove oneself. (emphasis added):)

What happens here all the time is one will accuse (and falsely so) and folks jump on the bandwagon of choice and folks love that accusers bandwagon, speaking of darkness....
Where is the post which says that he has cursed GOD's children? Or has he once again, charged to his brother what should not be charged to his brother

No one knows the spirit of another man save that man
And GOD

which is why we were told not to judge anything before the time

You are the one jumping on the bandwagon of acusing him of cursing Gods children you provide the proof, the only thing you have is him answering me while speaking of this very false accusation.

You are the one buying into that lie

So there you go that big ol IF just took a hike because of what preceeded it, you both believe and say he has done so (in summation) and where is the verse he is speaking of there (according to your estimation) and is it Moses words according to you?

And by the way. Even the one who is without sin (whoever that one is) has no right to condemn curse or rain fire down from heaven on anyone
