Greetings,
I just thought that perhaps people might want to share with the world what their computer desktop looks like. I do!
But just in case anyone out there doesn't know how to add a picture of your desktop, here's some instructions how you can do it:
Windows users: http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm
Macintosh users: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/screencapturemac/ht/macscreenshot.htm
Linux users: I don't need to tell you how.
Then after you get your desktop picture, you go to Google and type: "free image hosting" Google will bring up several websites and you just choose one. The website I chose is TinyPic.com. They took my picture without me having to sign up or pay any money. Then they give me a link that I can use to post in the forum here.
You can either just post the link if there is HTML code , or you can look for the "yellow post card looking thingy with mountains" at the top of the Message creation window (where you type your post) and that will allow you to paste the link to your picture. It's just over to the right and down one row from the Smiley Face options.
My one fear in creating this thread though is that it might take a long time to load for some people.
Alright, here's my desktop: (clean and simple, though I didn't empty the trash first)
