Will be leaving shortly to go to the VA for my LAST MRI! (I hope) Praise God!
I know that many folks here probably think "So, what's the big deal with taking an MRI?"
The big deal (for me) is that when one is suffering from crippling pain, and they lay you on a hard metal table, and place you in a position that places severe stress on ones injured limb, and one has to lay there for 30 minutes, the pain quickly rockets from 6-Plus to 9 or 10. When it gets to the point that one starts to convulse inside the MRI Tube, and the Technicians have to go into panic mode to get one out of the Tube...........it's kinda of a big deal.
Anyway..........this happened the first time. The second time they made adjustments and I was able to complete the MRI. While the pain did reach a level of 8, I was able to hang in there and get 'er done! Hoping this last one will be even better. It is suppose to be the easiest of the three, and only about 20 to 25 minutes.
Still...............I be like......ANOTHER MIR?
