Will be leaving shortly to go to the VA for my LAST MRI! (I hope) Praise God!

I know that many folks here probably think "So, what's the big deal with taking an MRI?"

The big deal (for me) is that when one is suffering from crippling pain, and they lay you on a hard metal table, and place you in a position that places severe stress on ones injured limb, and one has to lay there for 30 minutes, the pain quickly rockets from 6-Plus to 9 or 10. When it gets to the point that one starts to convulse inside the MRI Tube, and the Technicians have to go into panic mode to get one out of the Tube...........it's kinda of a big deal.

Anyway..........this happened the first time. The second time they made adjustments and I was able to complete the MRI. While the pain did reach a level of 8, I was able to hang in there and get 'er done! Hoping this last one will be even better. It is suppose to be the easiest of the three, and only about 20 to 25 minutes.

Still...............I be like......ANOTHER MIR?

not necessary. he's one of the strongest men i know
And one of the most stubborn. I raised him so I ought to know.

But praise God he won't be moved off the truth. He's been the spiritual warrior of our entire family since we was a little boy.

Not true...... I picked up quite a few pounds since joining this thread...... or maybe it was winter munchies????
Yup, I hear ya! Here's an awesome recipe that is delicious and not fattening.

One Ingredient Ice Cream:
Peel two bananas and slice them.
Place them in a covered dish and freeze until solid, around 2 hours.
Put them in the blender or food processor and blend until creamy.

I had my doubts about this recipe tasting like ice cream until I tried it. It's delicious!!!
I've also added chopped raw almonds & a few tablespoons of almond milk and it was superb!

Anyone ever try Dole Whip? It's dairy free and very good. I don't know why but I don't really enjoy sweet stuff anymore. A little like key lime yogurt or something that's not very sweet, even chocolate isn't my thing anymore. This is going to sounds but I really like these. image.jpg

The main ingredient is sugar :cool::rolleyes:

The ingredients found in an Atomic Fireball are sucrose, food starch, gum acacia, artificial flavoring, carnauba wax and food coloring. The artificial flavors used in Atomic Fireballs are cinnamon and capsicum; artificial cinnamon provides the main flavor of the candy, while capsicum produces a burning sensation in the mouth.

Atomic Fireballs are produced using a technique called sugar panning. In this process, a grain of sugar is agitated in a heated pan of sugar syrup and flavoring. The syrup forms layers around the grain of sugar, which eventually become a candy shell. It takes two weeks and over 100 layers of candy for this process to create an Atomic Fireball.
