I think that is a farce. Sure...I've had alcoholics in my family. But with any "coping skill" it all stems from being unable to process emotional pain in a healthy way. Unhealthy coping skills are passed down...not alcoholism.

One beer is not equivalent to one glass of wine or one shot. That's not how it works. Different types of alcohol have different strengths.

Alcoholism is a progressive disease. Our genetic makeup does have something to do with it. Its a spiritual thing. Curses travel in families and various families have different curses. Didnt you just say you are buzzed? You are in denial.

Yes and no. Yes, in the sense that I'm not an alcoholic. I rarely ever drink. Multiple family members were, though. No, though, because alcoholism is a combination of a biological, psychological, and social disease.

Why do you judge me so harshly? This is an experiment that I decided to take. Just today a friend of mine told me that I am the most compassionate and kind person they know. So what you say is simply not true.

I think we have a conversation now and I am made out to be some kind of villain. I don't feel prideful. I feel like I am being unfairly judged.

I think everyone should just stop. Everyone's getting all up on their high horses over difference of opinions.
He's not acting "buzzed". Ive seen him just as playful/joking in many many other threads when he wasn't drinking. You're imagining things I think because of your view on drinking.
