I could use some prayer....last evening I was eating supper and all of a sudden I had difficulty speaking, then my throat, tongue and face started to swell up and I went straight the emergency room. I am unsure what caused this anaphylaxis reaction, but pray that I find it and the swelling goes down in my face and mouth....but thanks to God, the medical staff acted quickly as it could have been much worse

No clue....I know I go into anaphylaxis over latex like gloves, balloons, rubber band and the like, but I had a takeout hamburger for Pete's sake and before I knew it I had nurses poking me with needles and putting a respiratory monitor on me and pumped me full of drugs

Something that's been on my mind, is hoping I make a good wife. My bf and I went engagement ring shopping over the weekend, and we are very happy. He and I were friends first and it's been a great relationship, so far and we are thinking of a wedding next spring. I just hope our marriage is a good one, I worry with the divorce stats I read about...

My only advice would be to be sure that both of you put God first in your marriage/relationship, and then put the OTHER first! Doing that will greatly enhance the chance of a wonderful marriage.

Praying for you, and it sounds very much like an allergic reaction to something you ate. They should be able to determine the cause of the reaction with testing. Get it done as soon as possible! Also, make a list of whatever you ate, and DO NOT eat those particular items, or closely related items again UNTIL you know what the cause was.

I have an apartment inspection tomorrow, so gotta get off my keister and clean house today. UGH.. I HATE sweeping and mopping.. lol.. My landlord always tells me I have the cleaniest, tidiest apartment out of all the ones she's been in. And they have a gazillion apartment buildings, so that must mean that all the other tenants are sloppy, and I'm the only one who manages not to be a slob.. lol :eek:

Making progress.. bathroom and kitchens floors got swept, tub got cleaned, bathroom sink is clean. Gotta clean the toilet, UGH, but I'll do that tomorrow. Gonna rest for a few minutes (don't wanna kill my back :( , then I've got to sweep and mop the living room floor, do dishes, take out my trash and I'm done..

You are bringing back memories for me when I was in the Military and we had to clean our room and make it spic and span. Sometimes they even did a white glove inspection. :eek:
