i'm about to hop in the car (grandbabies!) and will be praying for you during the 45 minute drive.

when i feel stressed, which ain't too often any more, i remind myself God is with me and for me, not against me.

same for you, Natania. ♥
Just don't pray with your eyes closed this time LOL

we homeschooled our kiddos, and my question for them was "did you do the best you could?"

because no one can do better than that, dear heart. :)

That was quite common in the States in my experience, but back in Australia not nearly as much. Was an interesting cultural point.

Yep now imagine being told to do flag detail and no one tells you what to do, and you've never done it before.
That went well...

First year or not, I think y'all did a great job!

I'm a former Marine Bandsman, Parris Island Drill Instructor and Taps bugler for military funerals. My only critique would be this:

Raise the Colors while the National Anthem is played/sung.
Raise the Colors QUICKLY on the first note of the music and it's at THAT point the detail should salute.

Otherwise it was GREAT!

I am absolutely bored. Haven't been sleeping well lately, even with taking an all-natural ingredients sleeping pill. :(

I can't stop laughing!!! ROFLMHO!!! icon4.png

An elderly couple just knocked on my door with a clipboard and some political paraphernalia. I answered the door eating my bowl of oatmeal with almonds, raisins and honey while it was still warm. I said good morning and asked them how I could help them while scarfing down my breakfast. She began muttering softly... he then interjected some point... she got a bit more animated and he joined in with a much louder tone... and even though I repeatedly asked, "Excuse me? What did you say?" they both kept yammering incoherently about Trump and Clinton and something about "a real surprise" (at least, I think that's what one of them said.) I couldn't understand a full sentence they uttered! When I asked them if they were for Trump or Clinton, they both smiled oddly and then began muttering stuff all over again. It finally ended with, "Are you a registered voter?" I replied that I was and then there was an awkward silence. "Is that all?" I asked. Yes, evidently it was as they just smiled and turned to go.

I'm glad I didn't let my oatmeal get cold over that bizarro exchange.

So? Lol
Its only dangerous if people are having a bad day lol
Tragedies happen all the time. Is there a rhyme or a reason to them? At first glance, many would say no. Still, we know that this world is but a shadow of what is to come. Oh, death, where is your sting, indeed?

This song is playing on the radio right now. I like it and want to share it with y'all :)
