This is a silly question but I'm quite serious. I've heard that everything you like is in heaven? How true is that? I can't think of anything better than chilling out with my love Jesus and playing video games that's my personal idea of heaven. I'd like to hear ideas of your personal heaven. Like what you want to see in heaven when you go there.

I hope heaven has big, playful cats, video games, music, books, and people I look up to like Abraham Lincoln! Think of the people we could meet if we follow God's word.
If we follow his word, we will not perish but have eternal life:)

I believe there will be things that even our imagination now cannot conceive of. I can tell you one thing - we will not be sitting on clouds singing "Bringing in the sheaves" for all eternity. Heaven is really a manifestation of Jesus Himself and all His beauty.

Have just recently been thinking about what it is going to be like, and can not even imagine. To think of all the ritzy places, tropical paradises, exclusive getaways, breath-taking views and such on this earth...will not even compare to what is in store. Of all the wonders and magnificence present today...how much more wonderful and magnificent will it be!? And to be with Jesus and all God's Glory....Wow!!

Not worried nor concerned about dying myself, and have on several occasions been close. God has me here for a purpose, and when that purpose is accomplished, am certainly ready. With that being said though, would not wish to be dead, as there is still much to be done. Exactly what that is, don't know yet :).

And we have a reserved fishing spot to get the eternal record trout. Don't forget that perfect cigar!

I don't I'm doing enough in this life. I'd like to do God's work but my lazyness is holding me back and its getting annoying. God's taking his sweet time in changing my heart thats for sure. I know I'm born again but conviction isn't in full force yet :/

A lot of talk about things, places, etc. here - but what I look forward to are the people I knew who have gone before me. My family - even a baby I lost. I also look forward to seeing many people who were somehow inspired by me and I've never even met them. Maybe they read a Christian devotional book that the Lord had me write many years ago. Maybe they heard me in a talk I gave at a retreat.

Somehow it is the people (even the biblical people) that make things like "games" seem somehow so shallow. Sorry.
But think of something that you said to someone that brought them closer to the reality of Christ - and they in turn shared that with someone else who shared it with another. Like a domino effect. I think we will be totally surprised.

And we will then know all the prayers that people prayed for us that we were not even aware of. There will be a oneness with others in heaven that we have not even touched down here.

But the wonders of being with Jesus, himself, will be like something that we have never experienced yet. And will satisfy us completely.

That's my take.

Brother, when saying this, I am speaking to myself above any and all: It is about surrendering all. Surrender all to God and totally turn to Him. It is not about laziness or not doing enough in this life; Jesus has already done it. Put faith and trust in Him, and you will see more of what you are looking for.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Personally living in Gods Glory. No sin. His perfect creation. The best here is going to be like dung compared to the eternal state.

Video games? I wouldn't rule em out. But they are going to be last things on our mind as we fly through the milky way, and stop on a distant star to eat lunch with Christ.

I have imagined that before Sis. Wouldn't it be just like Jesus to send out all of our loved ones to greet us while he leans back against the fence with a big ole smile on His face.

And a good take at that! And you brought up a good point...ain't it going to be neat meeting Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Ezekiel, Ruth, Luke, Paul, Timothy, etc etc? What a day that will be!
