So, I was in the living room, and somebody told me they were watching star wars.

I looked at the movie and said, "oh, one of the cartoon series?"

they said no, the most recent movie. I looked back and noticed some things which looked live action.

said, must be he computer generated effects look like a cartoon, it does seem to be the fantasy elements which look this way, even the main character of the scenes suit.

I have heard life long star wars watchers complain on and on about problems they find in the new movie, how come I have never heard people talk about the special effects disney used effectively making the movie appear to be animated. Last film I watched with effects this obvious was war of the worlds from the 1950's, how did this not get on your list

of things you found offensive about it?

keep it civil

I think that Disney just wanted Leia to be a Disney princess. And that Disney just wants to continue to grow their empire lol

I thought it was pretty good. Matt the radar technichion was pretty funny:)

Me too lol.
Vader's gonna be awesome:)
Yeah same. The only thing that would stop me from watching a Star Wars movie if they turned it into a Rated R.

I do not even follow the series, but I was taught a little bi about films, I would have been offended if a film with so much publicity surrounding it's release I wanted to pay money to go see, didn't even put the time and effort into making a real set of clothes for the actor to wear as a costume for the character, and at this point in what is available for film making I went to a live action movie and the effort was so lacking I could tell what was animated, I've seen effect issues where the object generated even flashes giving away computer graphics, but never seen ones not openly branded as animated which didn't look live even in the lowest budget films, so I wanted to ask how this is something I even have not heard anybody complain about, as a prson who does not even follow the series, I was offended disney as a company would put so much into market hype and produce what objectively as a film does not even have the realism of a five figure overall film budget could produce.

the death star and aliens in part 4 from the seventies look more believable to me than almost anything I saw in this movie

Can you give examples of what you are talking about?

It was a scene with general grievace and if I get this right it would make it seem I have more knowledge of the series than I feel like I do but obie-wan kinobe? and from the dress of the one character you could tell was a real actor to more things than not from what I saw, I thought the person who turned it on was joking for a moment suggesting it was a live action film, which is about all the opinion I formed in the thirty seconds of looking at the TV.

well... General greviace is an alien cyborg thing. He is animated. Disney did not direct that movie. Obi won is human and thus he had a normal actor.
Is that what you ment?

Well that would make sense then. That movie was made like over ten years ago. Thought you were talking about latest movie

I didn't care for episodes I, II and III. They were entertaining but for some reason they just didn't get me excited like the originals and even less than the new movie. I think out of the three I liked Episode I the best.

Yeah I didn't like Jar Jar, but I did enjoy the light saber duel a lot. I thought Obi Wan was excellent in this movie and the other two he was kinda weak or goofy lol. I did like Liam's character and wish he wouldn't have died off so soon.

Blah lol. I guess for me he was portrayed as weak or made bad decisions. Anakin constantly made fun of him and made it look like he was weak.

Because aniken was arrangent and thus he became Darth Vader lol!
When he fought him in episode 4 he let Vader kill him because he had to let Luke out:)
