can anyone please quote the text in the bible that is a prophecy of Enoch? I tend to agree he was the first but I began to think and I don't recall ever seeing and actual prophecy recorded that was by Enoch, and I do realize there are many things not recorded in the bible and this doesn't mean they didn't happen.

Abel was a prophet, according to what Jesus said.
Luke 11:49-51 NKJV
[49] Therefore the wisdom of God also said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles,
and some of them they will kill and persecute,' [50] that the blood of all the prophets
which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,
[51] from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar
and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.
Abel could also be regarded as a Priest, his animal sacrifice is the first mentioned in
the bible.

I have said before that the Bible is an integrated, divinely written, inspired Book. (All of it)

Genesis 3:14-15 NKJV

that enmity. The reason Satan does not like us and goes around like a roaring lion seeking
to destroy, he wanted to be the head and ended up being trampled under foot by mere human
beings who were victors in Christ. It's not just the first prophecy of Jesus death, it sets out the
foundation for the entire victory won. If only we can all learn to walk in it.

Ever consider the passage in John 8:
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
So if if the testimony of two men is true then who were the two men that bear witness of him?
Wouldn't the serpent be the first prophet since he prophesied they would not die if they ate the fruit of the tree in the midst of the Garden? Or was the serpent a nut? Or would the LORD God had been the first prophet since he prophesied not to eat from the imaginary tree?

So in the Garden it is written that the serpent said unto the woman, "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" {See Genesis 3:1} Do you know of any tree which does grow from a seed? Do you know of any tree which did not produce tree yielding seed(s)? Think "in which" is the fruit of a tree yielding seed might be the fruit of nut trees?
But anyways, anyone ever wonder what tree the Woman ate from if it is written "... and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." Genesis 3:7

Yea I think he may have gotten hold of a bible trivia site ...which is fine ..but please don't play the "I'm a bible teacher" game ... Bible Trivia has little to do with real biblical knowledge
Hi Breno: May I Call you Breno.
First, I made a mistake when I created this thread. The name of it should have been Prophecy Corner instead of Prophet Corner.
I did not know how to change it so at this time it remains "Prophet Corner". If someone knows how to change it, please clue me in and thanks before hand.
To answer your Question, I started this thread to help broaden their understanding that prophecy has a large part of binding both the old and the new testament together as part of God's plan.
I am not withholding nothing but rather giving others a chance to research and find it themselves. While they are researching it, they are also learning more of God's wonderful Word. Sort of a large Bible Study.
One other item, I did not state that I was the only one who could ask a question about a prophecy. There are 1800 or so.
Now, can I help you any further?

Yea not trying to beat the guy up... but maybe just start a bible trivia thread, instead of the whole "phophets corner" idea ..and then proceed to kinda act like the "prophet" with all the answers ... not a great idea
The Serpent lied to Eve.
God told Adam: Genesis 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
Genesis 5:5 "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died."
God did not tell Eve anything, Adam did?
The definition of a prophet is "as one appointed by God Himself to be His messenger". The Dictionary def. "a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God."
Satan is a fallen angel and could not be a prophet from God.
I ask everybody on this site "Do Not Believe a Word that I Say" but rather check it out for your self as the Bible tells you to do.
