To answer your Question, I started this thread to help broaden their understanding that prophecy has a large part of binding both the old and the new testament together as part of God's plan.

I am not withholding nothing but rather giving others a chance to research and find it themselves. While they are researching it, they are also learning more of God's wonderful Word. Sort of a large Bible Study.

One other item, I did not state that I was the only one who could ask a question about a prophecy. There are 1800 or so.

I tend to agree he was the first but I began to think and I don't recall ever seeing and actual prophecy recorded that was by Enoch, and I do realize there are many things not recorded in the bible and this doesn't mean they didn't happen.

See the lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone and to convict the ungodly of all their ungodly acts they have done in their ungodly way and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him

I think most people know that anyway. :)
Unless they are new to Christianity and the bible.

The new is in the old concealed,
the old is in the new revealed.

Incidentally if you believe it would be beneficial, you can set up a group within CC, there
are several already some more successful than others.

Quite correct indeed, for God told Adam then Adam told Eve thus Prophetic statement from Adam to Eve though Eve didn't heed to it and ate from the knowledge tree.
 
I have frequently said that the Bible (all of it) is a full integrated, divinely written and inspired book by God himself.

There have been many attempts to use Bible codes and such to bring out meanings that are hidden. There is a lot of controversy in this area so I have shied away from it. However, there are two hidden meanings that I rem from a long time ago. No, I did not find them but just remember them from someone who did.

Years ago when I was a small lad, I remember my mother had a large red book that had hundreds of names and their meanings. Back then, in a lot of cases, this was how people named their children. In the case of Hebrew names, they too have meanings.

This is the first ' Summary of Jesus Christ's Gospel' and the first unspoken prophecy found in Genesis 5 which is about the Generations of Adam. There are many hidden treasures within this book.

Proverbs 25:2 (KJV) " It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."


ADAM meaning 'MAN' with the root word of ADOMAH
SETH meaning 'Appointed'
ENOSH meaning 'MORTAL' with the root word of ANASH
KENAN* menaing 'SORROW'
MAHALALEL meaning 'THE BLESSED GOD '
JARED meaning 'SHALL COME DOWN' with the root word of YARED
ENOCH meaning 'TEACHING'
METHUSELAH meaning 'HIS DEATH SHALL BRING'
LAMECH meaning 'DESPAIRING
NOAH meaning 'COMFORT, REST'

'Man (is) Appointed Mortal Sorrow (but) The Blessed God Shall Come Down Teaching His Death Shall Bring (the) Desparing Comfort, Rest!'


NOTE: In most cases, Hebrew names and words have several meanings. There are no other meanings connected with these names that would construct any kind of meaningful sentence that I have found? Also, IF the genealogy was in any different order, this phrase would NOT be. GOD put this here to tell you Jesus Christ is your salvation.


*Cainan is Aramaic the Hebrew word is Kenan

Guy ..you may need bible lessons from the folks posting on this thread ..it's fine to want to play trivia ..but your whole attitude smells of religious pride that comes when people get head knowledge of the bile but lack real revelation of the Person of Christ.. two questions ..do you think you are a "prophet"?

What name did Christ come to reveal of the father that was not already known through the OT law?
