Not a nerd it is time for us younger Americans to step up since we will have to deal with the choices our future president makes. We are the future and the majority of the votes will come from a younger generation.

Why does the government care about global warming. Why is it asked about in debates? How, if at all, does it effect governments?

By why on earth would the government care?
When I think of government "A group that cares about what is happening to our planet" just doesn't come to mind lol
