My best guess would be, that global warming is something people care about and the government agrees or says they agree to do something to get elected, or make the people happy

By the way all the internet polls (I have seen) show Trump won debate by large margins ... even the left-wing news polls ..so as is always the case the media spin one version of the truth while the folks see if completely different

Government isn't all bad.

We should care about the planet. It's a gift from God.

Sometimes people in government come up with wrong/bad ideas, though.

Do you really consider this a pretty picture? Didn't Donald pin the global warming rhetoric on Hilary? Does he think all the scientists who speak against fossil fuels as an energy source are wrong, I wonder?
