It is sad that people are not kinder and more considerate. It seems that some forums on CC are more "Christian" than others.
I actually want to write a post or a thread or something about the level of insensitivity in american society these days. Its off the charts. Maybe I will, maybe I won't... I will know when I'm less busy I guess lol. Or someone else could do it... :)
<<<< Do you see my warrior avatar? That's how I feel when I see mean-spirited people hurting other CC members with their holier-than-thou attitudes and just being plain vicious and ugly. I'm prone to get defensive like a mother bear to break them down so they'll quit bullying others... and then I feel sick afterwards because I don't like warfare. What the heck is the matter with some people that they never see their error, they never grow up spiritually, and never find it in their heart to be merciful?! *sigh*

That would be very cool if you did address the issue of insensitivity, ZT. Hopefully by some miracle some people's eyes would finally open.

I had no idea this person was not a real moderator. They were available on the chat listing under the moderator heading. After I had posted, this person contacted me to clarify why no action was taken.

I was just mentioning an incident that took place on this site to incite a discussion on such behaviors and what actions can be taken as well as to air my own thoughts and concerns on it.

Since you are questioning my motives for posting them, I will add I have nothing against CC (and for that matter this individual. I frankly don't care)

In fact, your explanation for lack of action actually puts CC in a bad light. From my past experience on this site, I have known many of the admins to have taken action against users who do behave in an inappropriate, rude and surly manner.
Same here. They've been pretty faithful in responding to me and taking action. :)

Someone unfriended me on Facebook because he posted, If you're voting for Trump you should unfriend me now because I don't want to be associated with someone like that. So being the it's a democracy activist that I am I said, I'm not voting for Trump, however I think maybe I shouldn't associate with those who think this country is like North Korea, vote my way or suffer, type attitude. So he unfriended me. Bye Felicia or in his case, bye little dictator.
Bye Felicia!! Lol that made me laugh. I knew a Felicia once. She wasn't made fun of, but her friends gacve her a hard way to go though lol

Facebook can become a war zone during elections. I try to avoid political arguments on social media. One thing that really annoys me is when supporters for either party just assume that you are a total idiot if you support the other party. I think you handled your friend well
I try to stay out but I have sort of an attitude when I see someone being irrational. I actually posted I'll be your friend no matter who you vote for and that's when that guy unfriended me. This is America you can vote for whoever you want. I can't stand when people try to intimidate others by getting someone to tell them who their voting for. If you don't want to tell anyone you don't have to. They'll use tactics such as, are you ashamed? No but they don't want to deal with your bullying if they don't go your way. I'm voting for the Libertarian candidate, I don't care who knows and I don't care what they think about it. If you don't like it or me for that, there's the door don't let it hit you on the butt on your way out.

One nice thing I noticed about getting older, other people's bad attitudes stop bothering you as much as they used too. Sometimes I find myself singing in my head, I don't caaaaarrreeee and it's awesome!

I try not to care. But peoples dumbness can make me really frustrated at times lol.

One thing I've noticed. People can act like idiots on the net, be a use its harder to track them down. If they were in public they would probly not say stuff like that.

But whateves. I don't know them, and thus I should not care and go on about my happy lill way:)

Was just called a stupid child by a CC member on chat who seemed to be a huge Trump supporter when I said I had no idea about the US national debt.

When informed, I was not American, his response was "Well let's see if you can hide and watch! Arrogant 20 year old."

It made me laugh but honestly, it spoilt my whole idea of going on chat to take a break. There was a moderator on there and when I pointed out this person doing something like that, there was no real action on their side.

Kind of disappointed that CC has this flip flop policies on such going ons in chat.

No matter who the member is, it's just not conducive to Christian fellowship and I wish CC was stricter in dealing with people like that - both on forums and chat.
In my experience, all of Trump's supporters are competing to see which one can be the biggest toddler, hoping that if they are up to par with Trump's toddler-like antics, they might be his favorite supporter or something. Whatever the case, he acts like a toddler, so it makes sense for his supporters to be equally toddler-like.
That being said, I DEFINITELY don't support the felon running for president either.

I wouldn't say insensitivity, I'd say oversensitivity. It's quite annoying. Everyone is offended by something.
My mother-in-law actually had quite a bit to say about the subject, when I was at a meeting with her. She said that in a world where everyone is so "offendable", we, as Christians, need to get to a point in our lives where we are "unoffendable". I agree with her. What part of being offended, is Christ-like?
