Its just that I don't see many If any, on here proclaiming Hillary Is good and honest, but I DO see people on here saying Donald Is good and honest.

Its the hypocracy.
Honest, "Yes." Good? I dunno. I know I would never want to work for him. He's too demanding for me..... but I would sure like to have stock in his company.
People like to support their team i guess.
Tommy your post answers Willie-T's post very well.:eek:Thanks.

Well...Hillary lied to congress. I'm not sure what that makes her if not a criminal.
It would make her a liar.... Not sure that liars are considered criminals....

PS... Have you never stretched the truth? If so does that make you a criminal? lol

No rightful woman would stay with a man after going through something like that. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if they were being kept back from strangling each other behind closed doors.
Of course there is another thought process that even a lot of Christians don't practice and that is to forgive and move on.

Maybe we should pay more attention to the Vice President picks.... as the conspiracy's go.... Trump recruiting Russia to do his dirty work and Hillary having people knocked off.... Maybe we will get a decent guy after all. Pence and Kaine don't appear to be so bad... When you compare them to the nominees......

Lying under oath is criminal, it's called perjury. And no, normal people don't do it.

I wouldn't have it in me to lie to congress or a court of law.

I have dual citizenship, but live in Canada. One thing I've noticed is how much of a liberal bias there is in the Canadian media coverage of US elections. I'm not making any statements in favor of either candidate, but I will say that I have heard a lot more negatives about Trump than Hillary in our news coverage. It was the same when Gore was running against Bush and then again when Obama ran. I think it's easy to form a very negative opinion of Trump based on what is being highlighted in our news. Add to that, I think because of Trump's overall outlook on foreign policy, I think Canadians have this impression that he won't be the best US President when it comes to US/ Canadian relations. I think most view Hillary as being better for Canada. So, I think it's easy for the Canadian media to go after Trump. Honestly ( and maybe it's just my area which tends to be more liberal politically), I've realized that most of the Canadians I know aren't really that informed about Hillary's scandals. I think we are being fed constantly ( by the media) that she is pro women's rights, maternity leave benefits ( something we value hear) etc.

Exactly as how I see it also

ignorance is bliss until it whacks you in the head

The third thread! But I have been posting on many others, so you have seen me around quite a bit!

But it is quite ironical you calling me out for posting threads, when the last thing you said to me before you left last time was how terrible I was because I never started threads. Well, I was pretty sick, physically and I didn't have a lot of passion or energy back then.

Or are you objecting because I am so against Trump? In every single thing I post, in mention that Hillary is not much better. I'm in the "neither" of them group, really! Except this forum is so unbalanced for Trump, I thought it needed some objective perspective!

As as to the claims that I am "left" wing, have been influenced by the left wing media (horrors!!) not so much.

I do not ever watch Canadian news media. I do read the local news on-line, the stuff about fires and car crashes in Highway 33. I do read a lot of posts on FB by Americans, intelligent Christians who are pastors, seminary professors and educators. They all oppose Trump because he is not conservative nor Christian. Many are not voting, or voting third party. I thought that was a good choice, until I read Gary Johnson's policy statements, and didn't agree with a lot if it, although he might be good for the economy!

In fact, I really formed my intense dislike of Trump during the primaries. I ended up visiting my son the businessman in Calgary and he constantly had the TV on American networks covering the Republucan races. Trump was interviewed, long clips from his speeches, for what seemed like forever. Sometimes I had to leave the room Trump disgusted me so much. I was also stunned that my intelligent and educated son was so enthralled with him.

It was Trump's narcissism, his boorishness, his inability to talk or articulate anything, that turned me off to Trump. We even watched a lot of FOX news reports, and Trump continued to behave like someone who just wanted to stir things up, not present him self as a credible human bring, let alone candidate! It was the most bizarre bandwagon I have ever seen, and Trump himself was the reason, the only reason I am against him.

But mostly I kept my mouth shut. Maybe I was given the wrong sound bites, or maybe he did have a brain in his head, who was I to judge?

Then came the debate last Monday! Everything I despised about that rude bully came back to me. I saw an immature spoiled child pouting, interrupting, and totally unbriefed in every topic except his income taxes, which he bragged about being so smart about avoiding paying taxes. Today I read someone speculating Trump lost so much money in 1995 that he is still writing off the loss against his taxes. Just speculation, of course, but there has to be some reason Trump won't release them.

My husband and I got sicker and sicker the longer the debate went on. Trump just stuck his foot in his mouth, and between his ignorance about any of the topics, his boorish behaviour all night, he kept on biting that foot. He convinced me anew that as President, he could lead to the demise of the USA! And he is not even conservative! Hubby is extremely conservative and he was totally repulsed by his behaviour.

My businessman/accountant son phoned after the debate. Was he supporting Trump any more? He said he was the most incoherent and inarticulate person he had ever seen, and Gary Johnson needed to be in the next debate!

So no! I am not liberal, do not watch liberal media, or any media at all! Trump is the one who renewed my conviction that he is nothing resembling a statesman, and Canada would also be in trouble too, if he is elected!

Besides, you have not seen the queue of articles I have waiting to post here. Hillary would never be my choice, based on policies, but Trump should not be elected because of his total lack of character and ethics!

tell us what you really think

your opinions are over the top and not as informed as what you think

that may be because you have a pretty big bias going in

your husband and you got sicker and sicker...so?

my husband and I find Hillary loathesome...me more than he does

I honestly do not care if you watch liberal media or something from the dark side of the moon

you seem to go to extremes to stick your nose where, frankly, I don't think it belongs

in other words, I do not respect what you think about Trump...it is just your opinion...you seem to think we should all care because of what you say here...why would that be?

you have VERY strong opinions on many things...but that is all they are...OPINIONS

Besides, you have not seen the queue of articles I have waiting to post here. Hillary would never be my choice, based on policies, but Trump should not be elected because of his total lack of character and ethics!
I don't have to see them...I pray and trust how the Holy Spirit leads me...YOU don't lead me

yeah Angela...now that's funny

called you out? what? to a high noon shoot out?

you call people you disagree with stupid, unlearned and pat yourself on the back because of your Greek studies

I have yet to do anything like the kind of calling out you do and your special program to besmirch all those you call hyper grace...

you seem to think you have some sort of privileged value to your posts...like if it's YOU posting, we all should pay attention

I think you are riding some sort of hobby horse, and it's buckled at the knees

are the two subjects related? not subject wise ... but posting style wise? you betcha and that is what I am addressing

he last thing you said to me before you left last time was how terrible I was because I never started threads. Well, I was pretty sick, physically and I didn't have a lot of passion or energy back then.
I don't even know what you are talking about and the fact I was ember and then left, is actually something YOU were a deciding factor in...your extra nasty posts to me in the last thread I started under the name EMBER

I won't be leaving again...I have a thicker skin and realize that bullies will be bullies

People make such strong statements about their personal brand of politics. I'm sure I've done it at times but I ask this....where's the joy that Christians are supposed to exhibit? I was having a conversation with a friend about the word "Christian". I'm not sure I even like that word anymore. Some of it has to do with how people act here and some of it has to do with church people I know. So much hate and arrogance get spewed on this forum. So much dehumanizing of people who don't agree. We "Christians" are an affront to Jesus.

Yes, exactly. Do whatever you want, but know that God is watching you. And you do represent Him. It's not your duty to tell others who to vote for or what to do. That's between them and God. And Seed I don't mean you personally, but everyone. It's not my duty to tell someone who to vote for. That's called bullying and taking control of another person's life.

There is such as thing as discussion though. You could discuss why you think certain candidates are wrong. But once you start dissing them inappropriately, people aren't going to listen. These discussions should be done without anger or emotional involvement b/c then it reeks of argument and desperation.
Hello MollyConor
Discussions on politics can get quite heated and I've been called on some of the things I've said and I have called people on some of the things they have said.

IMO,a person cannot do what they want to do and be representing GOD.

Either they are representing GOD or they are not,and I haven't seen anyone on here saying they were for Hillary and be representing GOD,but I HAVE seen people on here saying that Donald Is a good and honest man and and IMO Its not possible to represent GOD and agree with Hillary and Donald Trump, although Trump may be pro life,he has so many other devilish traits that I might be nevertrump.

Ok, I'm really getting sicker of my Christian brothers and sisters arguing unrighteously than the presidential candidates. There hasn't even been an election yet and it's already tearing people apart! WE are supposed to be stronger than this. Why aren't we? We could argue both sides from here to eternity, but the truth is most have already picked their political candidate to vote for so the arguing is useless. Trump is no angel. He is not a good representation of a Christian and neither is Hillary. So what we have here is 2 spiritually ignorant potential leaders of what should be the most powerful country in the world. We could voted for someone else but we know that one of these 2 candidates will win. So how do we deal with it? Do we continue to slander them and each other or do we pray and have faith God will lead whoever wins? Quite few only in surprised people haven't already called either of them the antichrist yet.

Now, about Angela. She's a smart woman. She's a very spiritual woman and she's obviously bothered by both candidates. Even though she isn't American I'm not about to tell her to stay out of it. In my opinion, she has a right to express her opinion. It is her God given right. Not just an American right. I will also state that I do personally know many Canadians and all admit the media coverage of the candidates does have a left wing bias. Angela, is seeing what many see from a different perspective. It is neither right or wrong, but the info she is getting is not always the same as what many conservatives see. I've actually been to a Trump rally. I've been in his presence and was completely shocked when I'd see media coverage over "riots" that happened there when there was literally NO violence there at all. Secret service stopped it before it happened. Media sources talked about Trump wrongfully kicking protestors out that violated their constitutional right to protest but failed to mention it was actually a PRIVATE rally where you had to have a ticket to get in. He could kick me out for wearing ugly shoestring he wanted to. It was his right.
Anywho, all I'm saying is when we get info on either candidate don't EVER take it at face value. The general public is uninformed on many issues and the media knows this so they use our ignorance to manipulate us. Trumps taxes is one example. How many of us are accountants? How many of us know the tax laws? Im assuming very few if any. On the surface it looks like trump is evading taxes. The reality is many businesses report losses legally and do not have to pay a dime. These are laws congress put in place as well as the loopholes. Why blame Trump for using loopholes he is allowed to use? He beat the irs. No one likes the irs. My boyfriend is a businessman and reports losses to rental
properties he owns and pays NOTHING and has been audited and the irs found no fault. The tax issue is one example of the media playing us. Don't let the media win. Educate yourself. That's all i ask.

That would have been weighing In the balance, voting for the SCOTUS In mind, but because of Trump we may not get conservative appointments.
He has already announced conservatives he will appoint.

In fairness, Trump fanatics don't hold what Trump says 5 minutes ago against him. Why would they be outraged if didn't pick anyone he listed?

I'd like to think he would pick someone libertarian-conservative, but I can envision Trump going with someone who isn't. However, I'd go for the guy that "might" appoint a libertarian-conservative than with the woman who surely will not.
