Use the shyness to your benefit. I know that some women like a romantically "shy" guy because it makes it more of a game. Women are tricky mate. Just from personal experience you chase them too much they run away, I know this because this one time I saw this really cute chick jogging so I chased her down an alleyway late at night to get her number... Well the rest should be evident.
Like wise if you Don't chase a women enough they run away.
The tricky part is being shy but not too shy.
Being confident but not too confident.
Being Hansom but not too hansom that they are insecure that your "prettier" then them. (the problem most men on this site have)
Be funny but not too funny they pee their pant's or else they won't ever see you again do to embarrassment.
Be talkative but not too talkative that you never let them speak.
Be a good listener but not too good they think you are mute...
