First, I haven't been on CC for a long time. I've been busy taking care of my family. Besides, I can only respond to what I read. Hold me accountable for what I say, not other Trump supporters. I would never call Hillary supporters who are Christians as cultists, even though I disagree with them. It is not biblical not to judge a believer's heart, his or her standing with the Lord? You have done just that!

At work the other day we had a meeting about how the election was affecting everyone. Afterwards, it had me really thinking....we have serious issues with both candidates, one who has clearly broken the law and denies it, making excuses for her actions....then we have Trump lol..who is known for being short tempered and a firecracker who clearly doesn't think about repercussions before he speaks which could land us in trouble. My theory is Americans (generally speaking) feel as though either choice we make will have a negative impact on on this country and as a result, so many feel hopeless and it's impacting how we respond to each other and how we take things.
It doesn't matter who you choose to vote for, we can't control who will become our next president, but we can control our actions and how we respond to others. It concerns me that you have a problem with people who support Trump instead of trying to see both sides of the coins. Yes, trump may have a few dozen skeletons in his closet but he may have a few good ideas for our country and he has a direct personality like you have...black and white and that may just what our country needs right now

On top of that, there is no denying Trump admitted to walking in their dressing rooms and laughed at the reason he gave for doing it, "being the owner I get to inspect things". This is documented.
To me, that is sexual abuse. The fact he was the owner of the pageant doesn't make it acceptable to violate young women in their dressing rooms. For as much anti-trans restroom discussions that we've had here on CC, I don't see anyone bringing that point up against Trump. He is untouchable... he gets a free pass...

I will probably vote for Trump, but I am definitely not following him. He has done a lot of bad, and I will not try to make excuses for it. I definitely don't condone sin, but everyone sins and I have to vote for 1 of 2 people....I vote based on who I think would be better as President. I would consider voting for a third person if that vote actually meant something, but since not enough people will abandon the two party system, I will vote for one of those two. If a third party candidate has no way of winning and I vote for them, in my opinion it is saying who cares if the worst possible person gets in, just as long as I didn't vote for them. I don't vote for one of the 2 and the worst one gets in, then my conscience will never let me live down that I could have voted for the better one, but I let the worst one take office.
If I vote based on morals alone, no one could be president except God. If King David were running for president today, I would vote for him. He was a man after God's own heart. Sure he sinned (murdered), but God forgives, just like he does for me. Sure Trump's sin seems inexcusable to us, but God can forgive him and I pray that Trump and Clinton will both turn to God, if they are not now. (worded this way, because I have no clue what has happened with either since a few days ago....things can start to change in a couple days.)

first...it -is- biblical to judge if a person is truly the christian they claim to be...it is -unbiblical- to suggest that we simply have to take their word for it...why else would there be so many warnings in the new testament about false brethren?
