my mum works part- time nights, so they both make money. But she's used to doing it alone before she met him, so I guess she doesn't mind

That doesn't sound fair... Doing all the houskeeping + night work??? Wow!!!
 
yup. Well, he does make dinner now and then, but I've NEVER seen him vacuum clean or wash the floors

Thats more like it, but I can do that myself. Although it tastes better if someone makes it for me :D
