I just had a thought about the next president.. Do you think that God could actually want Hillary to become president?

I know all the anti-Trumpsters are going to say "Well what about Trash-Talking Trump?!!"
Well.. Trump wasn't investigated for a year by the FBI... Trump isn't being accused of high-level corruption in the form of pay-for-play (if you want something done, donate a million or so to our foundation and we'll make it happen)... and Trump did not delete 33,000 emails concerning official government business and setup private servers for the sole purpose of using them for email instead of using the government server....

Well... I guess we have to assume that God did put Obama in power.. so there's that...

What do you think? Why would God want Hillary to be president?

NOTE:
She doesn't even think the country needs much help because she says that it's "Already great".
If she really feels that way, then what is she running for? Fame? Power? Prestige?? Get even with Bill??

I think God said to himself that this time he would not put anybody into office. He reckoned that the American people would manage without divine intervention, we're living in 2016 after all. Rumor has it, though, that the 2020 primaries and general will be monitored by God 24/7 to avoid a new 2016.

According to Wikipedia, the population of Germany was 99% Christian in 1933 when Adolf Hitler was elected Chancellor. God didn't stop that from happening either. Greatly looking forward to the results of this election.

He is going to do what ever he needs to set his world stage for our savior to come.

I was just talking about this last night to my wife. Iran and Russia are going to be pretty powerful in the end times and with Clinton in office that will definitely happen. So if he needs her in office then so be it. I'm not to worried about it

That could be Zero. When you read the Bible and see the events that are happening around the world none of what is going on is surprising.

I have two thoughts about this:

1. God is staying out of it and allowing the people to make their choice. Hillary will be a disaster in terms of national soverignty, economy and trade and militarily. Trump, I think, is the antithesis of that.

2. Hillary through God's permissive Will will be the choice for president to collapse the nation, break down the sovereignty and perhaps even form the NAU, or to bring the world closer to the NWO, times of the end.

It could go either way.

Is it too late for the church that is the body of Christ to influence the age? It has long been suggested and scoffed at by many that the age is having more influence on the church than the church on the age.

Could this election be a referendum on the church?

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

GREETINGS ZEROTURBULENCE,
I have actually been pondering this very question lately. My thoughts:
Neither presidential candidate or political party will heal this nation - However -
of the two current choices:
#1) One would allow for the freedom of religious expression
#2) One would stifle religious expression as has been happening for the past eight years.
Maybe.......................
#2 would be the best? For it seems that only during persecution does the church
(the body of believers in Christ) return to God!
Just my 1 & 1/2 cents. ;)
Be Well,
cavil

I truly believe God will intervene once his people cry out to him seeking forgiveness, grace, salvation, protection, and love. This election has done a beautiful thing and awaken the eyes of his people. Now awake to see the true corruption and schemes the evil one is playing. Many prayers have reached the Heavens in hope for God to revive this falling Nation. Many are scared and pray for divine intervention. From watching what has happened in the past I do not believe God put some one like Obama in office since Obama has only pushed this country further down a pagan road. I believe he did not intervene because of the majority of this nation's wickedness. So he allowed the people to choose their demise.

From all the studying, reading, watching, hearing, and just sharing the gospel I have seen a great thirst for God sweep over the hearts and minds of believers and non-believers. Obviously, we need God more than ever and we see when his people faced certain death and destruction. They either denied God and came to destruction or they repented and was saved from God's wrath. We also see God take into account his people mixed with the non-believers. Many times he remembered his righteous people entwined amidst the worldly.

Just in the past ten
years Christians are starting to feel their religious freedoms becoming under attack. Opening our eyes to the battle we got to face now or face it from a prison cell later. This is why it amazes me how Christians worry soo much on the personality of a candidate and not the issues and stances the candidates stand for. I wish we could vote in Christian who upholds their beliefs and values. But this is only wishful thinking. We must look at the facts and take into consideration if the candidate will be able to run this country. All we know from Trump is he has owned and made millions off his company. While Hillary does have political experience but has been proven to make terrible choices and been linked to traitor type deals with terrorist organizations. Not even to mention the traitor act of the whole email ordeal.

So we have one with experience in running a big business and one in very shady corrupt politics. I believe no matter who wins God still wins. God has a plan and it's for the good of those who believe. God ultimately may be calling us home to him in Heaven which is his ultimate goal. To call us, save us, and bring us home. God is very patient for the lost and wicked. This is why it seems so many good Christian people die too young or in bad circumstances. We may not from an earthly mind understand this but God does not want us to set our minds on earthly matters but to set them on our eternal home in Heaven. We must be ready any minute not only for Christ's return but also we know death can come at any moment in life. We pray for long life not understanding the beauty and perfection of heaven. Not understanding a home created for us. Call me weird but in a way when kids pass away young in our earthly mind it's terrible and it is, but what we don't understand is that little boy or girl is saved from corruption, adulthood, old age, and earthly trials and evil. That little one gets a free pass to Heaven to spend eternity in the loving arms of Jesus. Laughing and playing waiting on the day we enter the gates, praying we are granted. An eternity pain-free and always being close to God. Beautiful to me but still hard to swallow.

So I believe God is getting ready to part the red sea or close the giant door on the ark or calm a powerful storm. I believe we will see God move in many ways to protect his people. God does not ignore sincere cries for help. God's love has been shown to overflow with forgiveness many times before destruction. Have faith
[h=1]Matthew 8Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Wind and Wave Obey the Master[/h]23 As He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves. But He was sleeping. 25 So the disciples came and woke Him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to die!”
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this?—even the winds and the sea obey Him!”

I always get excited when I read this verse 27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this?—even the winds and the sea obey Him!”

and I want yell out that man is God our savior and King in the flesh sonnn. Lol MY GOD CAN DO ALL THINGS! ;)

It is never too late for all we know Christ can return tomorrow or in 2000 more years. We do not know the patience of God. People love to try and say all the signs are showing he will be coming soon. But even the apostles thought Jesus would be returning in their lifetime. And they had the prophecies given by Jesus on the end times. We know Revelations is mostly an imagery history book of many events that have already happened. This is why one speculation on why revelations took so long to be added to the bible was because possibly the people thought revelations was only a powerful history book and written around 96 A.D. in which the terrible things that happened to Christians in the past and the fall of the temple in 70 A.D. was very dark times. But finally, in 419 A.D. they added the book to the Bible excepting that Revelation also had future prophetic imagery too.

So yes I believe until I see Christ returning then God can heal this nation.

If America Is not great right now, when WAS America great?
How can you be American and deny our country use to stand for God, the constitution, freedoms, and individual rights? Yes as a country we have some bad times and overcome our problems as a whole but up until the 1950's we started to see our country shift into the wrong direction. But America was Great and in many people's opinions that come from other countries, we still are the greatest country on earth. Remember your freedoms you still have is a privilege.

I think God for most parts let us live with the consequences of our (and others') actions.
As others have pointed out, He didn't stop Hitler (and there are many other names we could add to a list of bad leaders).

Are you talking about Donald Trump when you say how can you be American?

When I look at the two candidates, I honestly don't see anything resembling the hand of God. I believe they are a perfect example of God turning the US over to it's peoples reprobate mind. I'm with Roger. The only solution to our problem is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." From what I see happening around the US, I don't see that happening yet.

Just a quick thought.

"

There is such a thing as Gods permissive will and Gods perfect will. When Christians refuse to vote knowing the consequences then we get 8yrs of Obama. That was not Gods perfect will for our country. No way. And if Hillary get elected it will also not be Gods perfect will.

I'm not sure what will happen in this election, but I dobelieve it will affect the whole world, not just the USA. I pray that God useswhoever gets in, that being said, I would vote for Trump since there isno real third option.
